Very interesting As always ! For the geometry in the HDRI, can we simply select the geometry and flip the normal instead of two sided material ?

<!-- hiya, was following along with what you were doing but for some reason adding the default "scale sprite size" update step instantly makes all the particles disappear. other than that I believe I had followed the tutorial pretty closely so a little confused as to why i had such different results. Changing the scale in the step doesnt make them reappear :( -->

Fastest way to add expressions to the face is to use the face poses library (included with the Metahuman) as a base layer and then just tweak to your liking. Same goes for body, one can save poses in a library, most helpful for hand poses, as the fingers take a lot of time to pose.

@@JonJagsNee im premier user about 10years. i switched to davinci for 6month. davinci is faster and smoother, color grading is a joy and mask tracking and over all tracking is just like magic. but i gotta go back to premiere cause of aftereffects. since then i want to switch back to davinci but its diffecult.... its a shame

I've set this up to render, so looking forward to what happens. One question: if I have 4 cameras in the scene that I need to render the same sequence animation, is there a way of setting it up across multiple camera shots and rendering out all the shots in the render queue?
@JonJagsNee10 күн бұрын
Yeah man, in your sequencer (timeline) set your playhead where you want the camera cut to occur then on the camera cut track, hit the + button and select your second camera. Repeat for the other cameras and just render the full sequence with your multiple cuts. You can think of your camera cut track like a video timeline in Premiere, Da Vinci or Final Cut :D

A question. When i use hdri backdrop to light my scene. And when i try to build my reflection captures in my scene. The build isn't accurate and the majority of static meshes in my scene aren't in the reflection. When i disable the hdri, the build is correct.

Thanks but when i change from "EnviroDome" to "Sphere" everything turns black and i can't import custom HDRI, that's strange.
@JonJagsNee10 күн бұрын
Yeah, sadly that's because the default material settings for the HDRI Backdrop is not set to 2 sided. Do me a favor and when you're searching for a new mesh, search "SM_SkySphere" :) That should work

you dont use OCIO in color output?? just disable tone curve??
@JonJagsNee13 күн бұрын
You can and I personally do use OCIO :) However, most people don't have a ton of knowledge on ACES and what I care most about is a 1 to 1 conversion of my Unreal view port to my post processing software. Disabling the tone curve gets me there most of the time when I'm being lazy :) At the end of the day, i just want a pretty picture to post on the internet and share with my clients.
