Never heard a 560 sound like that and we've used them and pulled them for years.

That alot of putt putt to get down the track! Always like to see young get involved but always worry how fast things can happen too. We had one stand on her tail once and burry the seat into the track. Luckily my brother had stepped out and little brother had crawled on with more experience and when it went up he stepped to the right and off right axle and shut key off on his way off. Luckily the pulling sled had a bar across the front the caught front of tractor and stopped it straight up. People didn't see my brother step off and thought he was under it. Once that settled, we had to make sure no one dropped it to break the front end, got a couple tractors on each side behind it and chains to front end and slowly let it down as chains went over rear tires and back on ground. Was able to get get by with getting a hood and a seat, donated by pulled with spare parts. Cause of the probelm? My dad was on it the pull before, guy unhooking it was talking and he thought it was unhooked, my dad took off and Bang!! It stopped as it was still hooked, It has sheared the bolt holding front of hitch bar. Only holding it was axle bars going down and across. When my brother hooked up and let out clutch it went straight in the air and stood on its tail. Anybody else would have been on it that day wouldn't have come out of it. He got lucky! Anti roll bars or wheelie bars were made mandatory after that. And hitch has to be double bolted on bottom. Things can go wrong real fast.

Put more air pressure in the rear tires and it'll keep the hitch where it belongs you'll pull farther.

Cub Farmall transmission, disc clutch and pressure plate, drive shaft, no belts in drivetrain, solid differential, and Kohler, horizontal shaft engine, probably 14 or so HP. What was not to like about these solid riding mowers. I had one. I should have kept it and rebuilt the whole tractor.

All fine and dandy but it's so slow to watch! Have thrm here in garden tractor clubs. To many kids doing same tractor. Ugh. I like the souped up ones. Big motors that haul butt down track! That's fun!
