The actual protocol for cosmelan is 6 months the cosmelan 2 home treatment has to be used continuously day and night along with the melan recovery and the sunscreen during the day for you to get the maximum result. You wasted your money. When u follow the full protocol the pigment doesnt come very easily because the after care product contains melanin inhibitors that deactivates the cells that produces pigments. Unfortunately many spas and clinics have esthician that are not well trained and have very little knowledge failing to educate you properly. I'm an aesthetic registered nurse for 15 years and have been using this on my patients with stubborn melasma and pigments that do not return to me for second treatments until 2 to 3 years later for refresh.

I just did a second peel and it’s not the same as my first a year ago, I think they changed the formulation at beginning of 2024. My skin isn’t peeling but it dark, 😢 still waiting for my results

@@imjadeemily I heard need to follow through the 6 months with cosmelan 2 . Em I wonder if they did ... is scary to think this is to treat hyperpigmentation instead it make it worse. I understand that using cosmelan 1 will bring the melasma to surface thereafter to treat with cosmelan 2.

Hi, great video! Maybe just purchase the Cosmelan 2 cream and use it every night or every other night ? , rather than a purchase the whole kit again. This way, the Cosmelan 2 cream will help keep pigmentation under control, as you mentioned about the reoccurring pigmentation. Also , maybe a 2nd treatment may help. I find one peel is never really going to completely remove all of pigmentation. A 2nd one usually is needed at some point. But definitely would recommend to still use Cosmelan 2 cream, possibly long term use awell.
