Based on Mazda owners manual, the recommended oil is 0 or 5w-30 meeting ACEA C3 specification. i would use this standard rather than API as API is primarily US market where this engine only appeared for 1 year

Hi sir I have a hilux 3L d4d 1kd I've replaced the turbo, injectors, sensors, cylinder head en more.... But it has lost power like it can't even go above 120km/h.......... But it's not smoking, when I diagnose it it says( throttle switch = Off)

Check the connection at the throttle. You might need to open up and clean the entire EGR and intake manifold as well. Lastly, ensure MAP sensor is reading correct values

@@perfectionwriters dont't know about 1kd, but in 2kd i've experienced (without scanner) cracked filter housing connected to map sensor. i repair it with 2 component epoxy glue, recently i replace the filter with a good quality motorcycle gasoline filter, so far so good.

Which Mazda engine? What does the manual say? Did you discuss the viscocity? R6 is meant for heavy duty diesel engine....That Mazda is high speed light duty. Did you consider the turbo and DPF? Kindly follow the manual

It's off-putting to see an engine being rebuilt when it's sitting on a dirt floor. How difficult is it to pour some concrete and work on clean, sterile metal work bench on a clean dirt-free concrete floor? "But we've been it doing like this for years" Hyundai/Kia just had a recall for their 4-cylinder "Theta II" engines - metal debris left-over from killing the crankshaft eventually found its way into connecting rod bearings - "rod knock" and eventual a engine seized. So dirt/debris may not immediately show up , but it very well may. Why take a chance?

the lowering block/diff-spacer should be approx 2-3inches height,but it should vary as per your taste and not altering manufacturer standards.

I wouldnt recommend a shorter hanger to lower the van as this would affect leaf spring lateral movement. Height lowering is done by placing a spacer at the contact point between the axle and the leaf springs.

Before stumbling on your videos, I had such difficulty finding real world performance data of brake pads we use locally, given that, even though most of us are able to gauge braking performance through driving, very few of us actually take the time check effects of brake pads on disk rotors or their wear rate.
