How to enable ceph dasboard via ingress controller. could you please highlight on it.
@Platform92 жыл бұрын
Sanjeev - The install I showed off was more of an intro, however if you want a production ready install with the dashboard included I would use their guide. You may want to follow this guide. www.rook.io/docs/rook/v1.9/Storage-Configuration/Monitoring/ceph-dashboard/#load-balancer Here's a guide on our blog about how to set up NGINX for Ingress if you want more information: platform9.com/blog/how-to-set-up-cert-manager-nginx-pmk/

@@Platform9 Thank you, indeed. I did went through the guide. I have erased 2nd time ceph-cluster 🙁. As a LoadBalancer I user MetalLB. Cert-Mgr is perfectly configured. Issue is with nginx & rook-ceph dashboard.

Hi, thanks for the video it helped me a lot. I have a juestion though, how did you exit from the VM after connecting it via "kubectl virt console" command. I am just stuck inside the VM and cannot log out. When I type exit, it just directs me to log in stage and I can do nothing. I am a mac user btw, I tried some other various ways but to no avail. Thanks again
@Platform92 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question! You can exit by typing "CTRL + Shift followed by ]". I'm used to control/command C, but that doesn't work - it requires a specific exit command.

Thank you for your detailed explanation in under 3 minutes..it should be a WWR. :) You mentioned some of the key points about the calico but I really would like to know that is there any chart to compare calico with other alternatives?

As a developer why would I want to use a heavy GUI when I can use the lightweight CLI to deploy? I have seen too many problems the UIs, versioning, workstation differences, etc... Using the CLI eliminates one more thing to go wrong when DevOps counts.
@Platform97 жыл бұрын
CLIs vs UIs debate is an old one, both have their places in the ecosystem. CLIs are popular and are goto choice for most of us. UI helps with discovery of applications on repos, error checking at various places (like filling in the values for chart deployment) and eliminates the need of CLI clients when they are not available.

How do you inject virtio drivers into guest vm's that don't have them? I've been trying to figure out a way to do this with Windows Server 2008 R2 VMs without doing anything involving a GUI but haven't been successful.

Is it possible to run any code inside that server?
@Platform98 жыл бұрын
+victor kebande: Could you clarify the question: run any code on the server being authorized? The answer is no, the servers themselves are authorized with specific "OpenStack roles" after which you can then deploy VMs onto those servers and run code within those VMs.

@Platform99 жыл бұрын
