less beefy bracing on the landing gear lets the leg have some give to it when its hit or dragged....those are too stiff, you will cause more damage that way, it needs crumple/crush gusseting....

I like Cheetah chassis. A 18 " kingpin With a shallow drop (JBHUNT style) And the rear axle 30" center line would give you a 36 ft kingpin to CL of the last axle. Then I can get a true 51 ft bridge With my 200"WB Daycab. "Tanker style" My favorite chassis of yours is the 12 pin 20/40 combo with a 10ft tri-axle.

Hello, I recently acquired a 45' Strick box trailer for storage on my property. It's in pretty good shape for its age. I found a date on a sticker for tire wheel maintenance 7/30/89. I'm wondering if there is a date stamp or serial number on it to find out when this trailer was built. Can you please tell me how to check it? I love this trailer and I'm proud it's made in Indiana. My dad is from Linton, Indiana. Finding this video on KZbin really makes me feel good to get this information, and knowing where this trailer comes from. Thank you to all involved and keep up the great American way.
