I've just bought this arrangement for clarinet trio. It plays very well using the individual parts, but the score in in F major and the individual parts are in G maajor.

I usually write the score in concert key, and the instrument parts in their proper keys. In this case, the full score is in the concert key of F, whilst the clarinet parts are in G, a whole step higher. If you play the notes in the full score (which is really just a conductor's score) along with the clarinet players playing from their parts, everything will sound in the key of F. Hope that clears things up!

We were playing it unaccompanied and were surprised to find the different keys. played it at a school and it worked very well. The kids found the most interesting thing about the piece was that it was played by the orchestra on the "Titanic" as the ship sank.
