I like the 1st method, but since I use sweat socks(Hanes crew) leave the heel out and they still fold pretty good, just not as "pretty"😉

In case anyone is looking at ways to fold socks for the same purpose that I am, the folds that survived retrieves from my service dog best were the square method and the military method. She was able to bring me both socks in one retrieve and they were easier for her to carry.

The way some of those socks are folded will stretch the tops after a while they will not stay up when worn. Terrible ìdea!
@LuvableCharlin6 ай бұрын
No it won't. I've been doing several of them for years, my socks got so many holes that they can't stick together long before the band would stretch, lol. Your legs will stretch it way more.
@LuvableCharlin6 ай бұрын
No, it won't stretch them. I've used several of these methods over the years, and your socks will fall apart way before a little stretch is kicking in. Also, your legs will stretch them even more, lol.

I'm truly disappointed that I didn't see the best method of putting on my socks here; I was expecting nothing less of Goldie Socks but showing me how to put on my socks with my feet alone. As a double arm amputee, I feel disregarded, from the bottom of my heart, I am saddened. (:*<(|

Ooh I didn't know there were so many ways :0 I'm surprised the one I got taught wasn't even in there idk if that's a bad sign 😂 just one sock inside out, one normal; fold them in half on top of each other with the inside out one on the outside then invert it

Methode 4 leads to one sock gets out of wack and the inner one stays intact. I'ts the way our grandparents did it, and I really would'nt recommand it.

If you can't be bothered with folding socks, buy all one style (crew, low cut, etc.) and one color. Then just grab two when you're getting dressed. Not as neat but it works.

Many years ago I used to housesit for a friend. I thought I'd surprise her by doing a large load of laundry she and her family had left behind. When they got home from their trip, almost the first thing my friend did was to berate me for folding their socks using the "flip and tuck" (#6 method). She swore up and down that folding socks in such a manner would cause the ankles to be stretched out and ruined. Oh, dear. ---- Can't believe this is my life now: Me sitting here watching how to fold socks. Shoot me now.

Thankyou. Putting on socks for me is very asymmetrical. I used to put on socks one hip over the other. Not sure that’s good mechanics.

I came up with the "fold & tuck method" (#5) on my own, except I fold the top sock in 3rds, then fold the bottom sock's cuff over the top sock & tuck the bottom sock's toes into the cuff (like in the video). It's a little easier to tuck one toe instead of both. I like a neat square (or square-ish) shape, so for longer socks like the ones in the video or longer, I just fold the top sock into a square, & place it closer to the cuff of the sock underneath (but leave enough room so the cuff can fold up on top, like in the video). Then for bottom sock's toe, just fold the toe end over itself before tucking into the cuff. For longer socks, I fold the bottom sock's toe all the way underneath the top sock, then tuck the toe end's now-folded side into the cuff. (And for super-long socks I fold it all the way underneath the top sock, then fold it in half before tucking into the cuff.) I like how they stack neatly in the drawer & I can group similar socks in the same stack, so it's easy to find the ones I want. They also don't fall apart when moved around, so it's great for packing a bag for a trip.

try and make a video of how to get your shoes stolen for 3 hours and still look stylish in tall and very cheesy socks of rubber duckies and toilet paper on the opposite sock you thought was a good idea to wear with loose sneakers just so someone could go and steal them
