George Floyd broke the law, Rashyard Brooks broke the law, Jacob Blake broke the law and they all resisted arrest and failed to follow lawful orders from law enforcement and payed the consequences for their actions. This is not the fault of Donald Trump. The fault lies with those made bad decisions, those who are rioting and the democrats who refuse to handle things and refuse the president's offers to help.

Just picked up 2 model 81 haytenders. They are missing the lift cylinder and the drive chain on the gear box side. Do you know what size chain, 40 or 60, is used and what size the lift cylinder is?
@gallennorris7824 жыл бұрын
It is a 60 chain on the jack shaft going to the rollers. Make sure to check the dowel pins and Springs in that clutch where the chain goes as they may be stuck inside the hub. It cost me $4.00/ each for the pins and $6.45/each for the springs. There are two springs and 2 pins. If you want I can send you the part numbers for the chain, pins and springs.

The Massey ferguson part numbers are as follows: #60 chain from rollers to jack shaft gearbox: MP 1 358 Dowling pin and Springs for overrunning clutch: Pins: 1 036 267 M1 Springs: 1 036 272 M1 Remember that the pins and Springs are located behind the sprocket on the jack shaft (bottom gearbox) where this chain connects. I will do a video either today or tomorrow on things to look for on these haybines prior to buying and I will show the location of these pins and springs. Hope these part numbers help!!

I like you’re video but you have a lot of errors. The part with the red marker saying his impact came from the front. It didn’t he got hit on the side and from the back. I have details on the crash if u want them dm me. If you noticed when they removed the roof his seat was pushed foward and down to the left. He got hit from behind and pushed his seat foward. I like that you’re trying to explain but let me help you enlighten the fans
@rydoggo4 жыл бұрын
People are always wondering how we could prevent the driver side window collapsing like that. They don't realize it was an approx. 150 mph impact on the roof. If you want the car to stay solid in an impact like that, you have to completely redesign the car. Like making a perfect roll cage for basically a McLaren F1.
@gallennorris7824 жыл бұрын
As a racer myself I am always cognizant of this kind of impact. If nascar hadn't mandated the escape roof flap above the driver I would recommend a plate (made of either steel or some strong material) on the halo bar. This would then add support from the main hoop to the windshield hoop and aid in preventing a collapse.
@Dreway4 жыл бұрын
Gallen Norris you know this is very very good input. I do a lot of physics work and especially nascar cages. A plate on top and on the sides outside the cage would help so much. It’s to fragile up there
@gallennorris7824 жыл бұрын
@@Dreway exactly. I draw my experience from actually being a race car driver and building my own roll cages. A solid plate from the main center hoop to the windshield hoop would strength the roof at least another 70-80%.
@MNmedic214 жыл бұрын
Wrecks like this wouldn't happen if NASCAR went to electric cars.
@gallennorris7824 жыл бұрын
A formula E car has a 551lb battery so they would be heavier and not flip as easy. But hitting a wall hard and then being hit in the battery by another car would be more dangerous then the ryan newman crash in my opinion. Problem is that unless they make big leaps in energy generation so that the batteries can be charged during the race you won't get very long before the cars run out of battery. Also they will lose a lot of speed with battery power. A 1800lb formula E car can only hit 140mph and run for 50 minutes (about 30 laps on a street circuit). On a track like daytona you would use a lot of energy just to get up to and maintain speed.
@Jiten1224 жыл бұрын
It's crazy that Ryan Newman created the newman bar 20 years ago because he's an engineer and named it after him saying that these are the area's where they land which awesome he saved himself for a 20btear event
@gallennorris7824 жыл бұрын
It was added to the race cars during the 2009 season after a accident where a car nearly entered the cockpit in a wreck through the windshield. Through his input it was named the newman bar.

2009 Newman lobbied NASCAR to add bars to the halo it's called the Newman bar it likely saved his life look it up !!!
@gallennorris7824 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment!! yes the newman bar helped some no doubt. But that bar is beneath the actual halo bar that creates the top of the cage. It's the halo bar over the drivers side that collapsed upon impact. The main purpose to a newman bar is to prevent a collapse from an impact through the windshield area.
@Dreway4 жыл бұрын
Footbrake King the Newman bar pretty much did nothing here. Barely some type of help but it didn’t take the hit. Even without it he still would have been hurt
@davidfischer974 жыл бұрын
What safety implements do you think we could do to keep this from happening in the future
@gallennorris7824 жыл бұрын
I really appreciate your fine question. There really isn't a lot that you can do outside of using thicker tubing and maybe a couple more braces above the driver. But then you lose your escape flap on the roof. The roof halo is just one of those spots that there isn't much you can do to absorb a hit like that. I build my own roll cages for my race cars so I have pretty good knowledge of the bracing and just cant envision anything cage wise you can do. In terms of car, use the cockpit safety of this car and combine it with the chassis's from 2003-2007. Cars need to become more aerodynamic so they don't stall out like ryan newman did and cause you to get run over. Also the bumpers on the chassis's I mentioned matched up much better and you had less hooking of bumpers like we see know.
@gallennorris7824 жыл бұрын
Watch my video Nascar and its quality racing problem and you will see what I mean about the aerodynamics of the cars prior to 2008. I find many characteristics between this car and the COT as far as aerodynamics so that's why I use the COT as the example of the problems surrounding the Gen6 car.
@gallennorris7824 жыл бұрын
@SofaKingCool basic human nature compells us to think about what we could have done different. That's why I said that outside of thicker wall tubing there isn't much safety wise you can do.

@@gallennorris782Cool old machine ! You should clean it up a bit and throw a coat of paint on it. There is not many of these left in working condition. These were known as widowmakers along with other similar payloaders of it's time with the high behind the cab boom pivot. They killed many men because they get half way out of the cab with the boom up and with the tight cab space would get caught up in the lever and accidentally boom down and get squished as it bypasses the side of the cab. Don't ever get out of the seat with it boomed up 🤪.. but you are still alive so you must have figured it out lol.
