Great video! Could you tell me the command line I would need to convert all TIF images in a folder to all PDFs? Meaning each TIF would retain the same file name when converted to the PDF? I don't want to do this file by file but as a batch (i.e. convert 100 TIF files to 100 PDF files). Thank you :)

PLEASE HELP!!!!!! I git cloned a github repo and my github got hacked and they also knew my google account password but google stoped them because they were in a different country, is there any thing else I should be worried about? Thisng are not simple as you say, for there are other finer desktop environments like plasma, which is far better and stable. With this you can install xbindkes along with .xbindkeysrc file. This works far better than compiz, but the plasma developer team, which is very accessibilty unfriendly, so they removed this functionality in their latest plasma6 version.

Five years after you made this video and it's still the best introduction to nftables. I would probably have given up and gone with ufw it it wasn't for this video.

i know this is a seemingly innocuous video to be sharing this kinda information, however I just wanted to extend a thanks to you, Quids. You got me into much deeper computing from when I was an early teenager with your well articulate and thoughtful insight on Linux distros. Got me to try Ubuntu 12.04 hah. It really opened the door for computing as a career for me. I just graduated last year with a degree in Computer Science and am working as a software engineer. I always ask the Microsoft scammer for some sort of proof that they are genuine and not scammers. For instance do they have any details unique to my computer? In response the scammer asks you to write down an alpha-numeric code which they claim is your Computer Licence Security ID (CLSID). The scammer then asks you to run CMD followed by the ASSOC command. The last entry on all Windows computers from XP onwards is the same: ZFSendToTarget=CLSID{888DCA60-FC0A-11CF-8F0F-00C04FD7D062}. However, I read back an altered version CLSID{666CAD80-FC0A-11CF-6F0F-00C04FD7D082}. This causes no end of scammer confusion but I insist that they don’t have my Computer Licence Security ID after all and that they are calling the wrong person about a different computer.

There’s nothing to “escape” from. What WINE does is *natively* run the EXE binaries directly on the machine itself, as if they were Linux executables. Never run the WINE command on EXE files downloaded from the Internet unless you trust them, and scan them first using ClamAV.

To let the controller connect you only need to enable Pairable, do not need discoverable. But it may work anyway. Though if you connect to another device you may have to delete to be able to connect again (you will require usb pairing too, since the controller connects to the computer, not the other way around.)

Okay. To start the pairing process (by re-connecting) you have to connect it over usb first, then press PS button to join a seat/slot, then un-plug and re-plug. After an update bluez blocks unbonded legacy devices so you need to edit in etc/bluetooth/ or a deeper directory, file called input.conf, to uncomment and disable ClassicBondedOnly setting.
