It’s hard to be politically engaged with such self righteous, narrow minded people. I am 70 years old and have lived all over the country. I have never lived in a place before where I have actually been told “You don’t agree with us so you should move.” And this was from a gaggle of matrons holding signs about how much they love their neighbors. What a joke. I was also told at the Metro station that I should move because I suggested the no smoking ordinance should be enforced. This was from another gray haired old bat. I can understand when I hear some of the cops say you couldn’t pay them to live here.

Takoma Park is definitely a unique place in the area and I agree, it's not for everyone. But then, most areas don't have a wide appeal to many different people which is why it's so great that we can all find our place in the world. If you're looking for a place to move, let me know! @@wealthrescuerThank you so much for your very thoughtful response. I’ve waited to respond because I wanted to consider my reply. I live in TP because I have a nice apartment that really suits my needs, has an incredible view over DC-I can see the Washington Monument from my easy chair-and the rent is subsidized. And I’m close to the metro which gets me quickly to the things I care about. I’m sitting pretty. (And I should mention our exercise room which allows me to keep trim without going out in the cold in winter and out in the humid heat in summer.) As for the local harridans, they’re really just frustrated bullies and not very bright at that. Someone should tell them that when they try to shun somebody they should be sure to try it on someone who wanted anything to do with them in the first place. But there’s real satisfaction in standing up to bullies even if they aren’t the brightest bulbs. Again, thank you for kindness. I’m sure you’re a really good realtor.

You made the right choice Hannah for taking in the Dobbie. I too have one, a 8 month old puppy, in my case I opted for doberman since since I need to exercise by taking long walks with her. I have retired from service and I have all the time in the world to pamper her.

According to me, I consider the doberman as the best breed. I have one female 8 months old dobbie. She has bonded to me well, I take her for long walks in the morning and evening. One needs to spend time atleast 2 to 4 hours daily with this breed otherwise they get aggressive. If one cannot find time opt for some other breeds.

I have no experience with either the Dogu Arjantino or protection training. My Doberman and the rescue Dobermans are all pets and not trained for protection purposes.

I think Dobermans in general are puppies for longer than most people expect. Otto was still a lot at 3 but did calm more by 4.

Doberman Pinschers have been the 5th smartest breed of dogs I bet for well over 25yrs..... I've owned Dobies, GSD's, Labs, Poodle, & many mutts to boot.... Guess you could say I love ❤️🐕's......

Depends on what we are doing. Sometimes it is a higher value like chicken or cheese or sometimes it is Nutrish meatloaf split into pieces. Sometimes we don't use treats at all.

I have lost both of my boys, Big Sam 110lbs, Little Sam 100 lbs in the past year . they both were rescues by me, have had Dobies most of my 74yrs. the best all around dogs, oh I have had some Shephards, Rott's, lab's and how many other dogs I have rescued, (53)and found them great homes, but gotta say Dobies are my heart, owned 6 over the years. hoping my grand daughter will come out west and stay at my land, Northern AZ. she loves dogs, want to send her to dog training and grooming school, so we can have more dogs. Dobies and German sheps, I want lots of them, for her and of course me. I have always said the worst part of getting old is knowing I will never have all the dogs I want, well her love for them can change all that, I love your videos, please forgive me for going on about dogs. 😊🐕🦺🐕🦺🤸♂🌹 ps I am a retired 30yrs real estate, Florida and Az.
