Hi, I have just bought Edgewonk today and have never 'properly' journaled for trading before. I trade Forex and CFD's (Indices) only. This video raises a question for me, should I create two journals (1: Forex, 2: Indices), or just use the one journal and create a custom metric? Thanks in advance. Oh, btw, great work, it's a brilliant journal ( I looked at a lot of others before buying this).

When Yvan talks about embracing uncertainty, I think this is what he means if I can boil it down, for example on your 10th consecutive losing trade you can look at the situation with curiosity and wonderment rather than the negative connotations : "Observing uncertainty with curiosity" means approaching situations where the outcome is unknown with an open mind and a desire to learn, actively seeking to understand the possibilities rather than feeling anxious or threatened by the lack of clarity; essentially, seeing uncertainty as an opportunity for exploration and discovery instead of a source of stress."

I don't know if this is possible but would it be possible to incorporate some sort of AI that can help interpret the data in the chart lab and make suggestions for improvements? Also, had a another idea that it would be cool to see a graph of some kind when looking at the calendar reports to see how I'm doing on a week to week/month to month basis. Thanks guys!

There has been a recent change to Edgewonk that I do not agree with. On a long trade, it will no longer allow me to enter a stop price higher than or equal to my entry price. This is undesirable to me because, on profitable trades, I will sometimes move my stop to breakeven, or even to a profitable price if the trade does well enough. The same issue applies to short trades, too. Please take this change out, or give me an option to turn it off.

Do post more of this, this will tremendously help a lot of discretionary traders!

This is great. Well done. To add on to the request by Pulse about the multi checkboxes for entry comments. I was wondering about a multi select option for strategies, because often we look not only at multi timeframes (this is already possible to select if timeframes are loaded under custom statistics), but one also uses a combination of strategies together, like a moving average cross over together with a FVG or a resistance zone etc... One more suggestion more on the actual topic of portfolio's - it will help a lot to be able to copy a journal entry from one portfolio to another, because one often duplicates the trades on different platforms. Thank you for an amazing journal platform. Keep it up.

please make the trade comments multi select checkbox when you adding a trade, like in the custom statistics so the tiltmeter and the other analytics will be calculated by multi factors not only 3 factors. let say i have a perfect entry plan comment as my entry comment but this plan has multi rules sometimes i enter a trade without all the rules has been respected, if there is a multi selection box i will list all my entry rules as entry comments separately and i will know exactly which rules each time i use that entry comment and collect stats on it and analyze it. like in the trade entire comment i have multi factors as positive and some of them are negative when i enter i trade i wan to journal all those factors not only 1, that way the tiltmeter will be calculated on average between let say 5 factors 3 positive and 1 neutral and 1 negative i hope you understand what i mean, all this can be also on trade management and exit comments, please add it or let me know if i can do this in another way it will be very helpful I'm sure a lot of traders waiting for this, also please add more fucus on adding crypto exchanges and auto sync trades on these crypto exchanges i appreciate you guys, thank you.

Cant wait for the day you'll implement backtesting feature like in TradeZella. Thats the only thing lacking in this impressive app. Great work though 👏

Almost perfect platform; if you consider adding position sizing based on risk percentage of the capital. Immm another easy task is fees calculation for each transaction.

Also, does it show the equities chart with entry, exit, SL, etc?

I just signed up. For risk can I setup a default amount? ie. if I am risking $100 per trade can I add that so Edgewonk auto calculates the take profit and stop loss price

So frustrating, why wouldn't they automatically include snapshots or interactive charts from each trade you've made.

If you create a session without all of the trades inputted. When you add all of the trades for that session period, will EW automatically populate with the added trade info?

When I open the missed trade analysis on a specific ticker, and made any changes e.g addition reflection under the notes. The trade will take as as a negative PnL under the analysis which we are forced to enter the exit value in the missed trade journal.

So you're telling me my mentor has to pay $169 just to see my trades?

If it is a FULL TP win, can i ignore the 'OTP Hit' part ? also can i check what is the one beside it called 'Break Even' and get an example of how i can use it? An example i am thinking is if it is a 2:1 trade and if for all my trades i plan to go BE if the trade hits a 1:1, and i got out early due to my own trade management rules and realized a loss of -0.5, but if i were to not manage the trade, the trade would have went to 1:1 -> i would be at BE -> price to reverse back to my BE point and trade would ended in a BE. Is this example correct ?

This is why I love Edgewonk and will forever use their journal. I appreciate all these videos that you guys share with us to improve as traders. Its greatly appreciated!

man wtf what year is this. I wanted to buy it but only allowing mastercard creditcards etc is so stupid... i dont pay for money on debt and here in holland we dont really use cards like that. Why no paypall or ideal option?

really interesting, thank you👍 I've compared different journals in detail over the last few days and I really like Edgewonk but please could you add more custom stats. For me 20 is just a bit too less to track my strategy in detail and to even add other things on top. Maybe something like 30 stats would be fine. I'm sure other OTC (Online Trading Campus) Students like myself would much appreciate more custom stats. Maybe have a chat with Moritz. Anyway have a nice evening :-)
