The process was fairly straightforward. The original video was upscaled to 4k resolution and cropped to a 16:9 aspect ratio while adjusted to 1080p60. The audio was also enhanced by normalizing it to 48khz with an improved bitrate.

Cobra is awesome. Its a shame that most people in the US don't know how badass this character was. since it never aired unless it was heavily censored. Famous Everywhere else in the world specially Latin america and Europe. Before Cowboy bebop or stuff likeTrigun , there was the legendary space pirate Cobra.

Cette publicité a en effet marquée les esprits de nombreux jeunes américains en 1991, certainement dû à la présence de cet étrange narrateur. Son dialogue est par contre partiellement erroné et inconséquent, puisque les Métroïdes étaient bien sur la planète SR388 avant les événements du premier épisode qui se sont eux passés sur la planète Zebes...

@@jalunard9469 Je doit avouer que je ne pas connait pas trop la licence Metroid. Je suis tombé il y a quelques années sur une traduction VF d'un manga one shoot sur la jeunesse de l'héroïne qui était intéressante. Il faudra que je la retrouve

En effet ! J'ai hâte de voir le film enfin arriver dans les pays francophones avec un coffret qui semble particulièrement soigné. Par contre, Dybex n'a pas encore détaillé les spécifications techniques du Blu-ray (pistes audios et format d'image), et je ne peux que déplorer l'absence des deux O.V.A., qui étaient pourtant inclus dans le box japonais. Je crois bien que nous aurons droit à un quasi-fac-similé du disque américain de chez Discotek Media. Wait and See!

Cool! I still have the complete game on Game Cube from back in the day. It is a decent cel-shaded shooter and easily one of the best Robotech game yet. To someone familiar with the TV series (or Macross), it almost feels like you're actually piloting a Veritech Fighter!

Very cool game! This spinoff might not have received the same attention and acclaim the original did, but it remains a very impressive and ambitious "jump and gun" on Super NES (feels like a spiritual sequel to Valken/Cybernator). I hope one day in the future, we see a remake of Gun Hazard!
