Hey Cashmere! (1) You are an amazing storyteller! (2) You're also very much detailed, like myself. (3) You are definitely an Extraordinary Overcomer b/c I thought I was fairly tough, until I saw this video and learned about this dynamic of your life's experience. I legit just don't have the mental, physical, emotional, etc. resilience/toughness needed to endure any sort of health challenges, so I more than admire you for your sense of humor, resilience, perseverance in spite of, etc. b/c I already know I'd damn near BARELY SURVIVE anything of this magnitude. Nevertheless, your story has not only inspired, but whew: Put some things into perspective for me, as I'm sure this video/conversation will for others who view it in the future. Be encouraged for sure!

My god this was so beautifully written. Thank you for your sentiment. But I'll be honest it HAS left its scars. I'm not the person I could be, but I am who I am - scars and all. I appreciate you acknowledging all of this. I get down on myself for not being all I should or could be and for being so sensitive or short tempered or hurt so easily - I even refuse to get too close to people. But I hope sharing that keeps people who go through something similar know they are not alone, they don't have to be perfect and that are who they are, and loved for it - flaws and all.

@@cashmerejasmine - Why thank you! No problem at all. I meant every word. The "rollercoaster of emotions" that you experience is perfectly understandable. And I understand not liking to get too close to people. Heck, I'm hesitant to get close to people given recent & past betrayals by ppl just being ppl, let alone dealing with all that you carry and have overcome. Well, you are doing an amazing job of sharing glimpses of your life's journey w/ us!
