Can you use a different kind of sealant such as poly crylic, or mod podge?

what a cool idea! IF I found just a solid foil color and was doing something large would you see the multiple layers of the foil? Or would it all blend in and make for a uniform appearance? I am looking to do this on a 3D printed motorcycle gas tank and I wanted a metallic look.

Can you apply the transfer foils to other colored backgrounds besides black?

Thank you for suggesting the addition of floetrol. This is greatly appreciated because I've been really discouraged by the amount of brush strokes that I've had, using your adhesive. It's actually the biggest reason I haven't ordered any additional adhesive because I've been looking for an alternative that wouldn't leave brush strokes in my work. This should make for a much smoother application which will allow me to use my foils in lots of other different projects. I've already been using a brayer but not for application so much as following application of the foil, in order to try to smooth out some of those brush strokes. I will give it a try though..when it comes to using it for actual application of the adhesive it's self

Use the wider tape to cover the entire swoosh, and then use a pen exacto blade to carefully trace the swoosh. Peel the swoosh, and you're ready to go.
