Ya, that’s right. I used to live in flat across from the playground you can see at about 47:30. Last time I did the Great Scottish Run was maybe 10 years ago. Was really nice at the end, just taking my medal back home 2 minutes from the finish

Nice to see you posting again 😁 I haven't done this parkrun but I've been to the park before and thought it was lovely so I'm looking forward to doing the parkrun at some point. Also, I ran at Erskine Waterfront for the first time today, your video there was really helpful in giving me an idea of what to expect from the route so thanks for that 😁

Is the suspension any good? I am looking for a new bike upgrading from an Apollo Phaze. I am tight on budget but this looks amazing. Is the suspension bouncy or not, as I want to go do some jumps and need some suspension durable and bouncy enough n

I’m no expert by any means but suspension is good (only on front, no rear suspension). I haven’t taken it off road much but hope too soon

Evans Cycles near me is closing down so they have a massive sale. This is reduced from £550 to £330 hence why I am going to purchase this (hopefully)

Just got mine serviced yesterday upgraded the forks to 120mm air suspension as it gives more adjustable and easier travel as well as some flat pedals,shorter stem (inexpensive from Amazon) as well as a better front single gear setup with only a cassette in the back although that’s more of a luxury than a necessity.

Excellent run for you at the Edinburgh men's 10K*, congratulations, those last 2K's were ran faster enabling to get under that magic one hour, *it was for men but I noticed in the earlier part a few females.

Thanks! It was very narrow but unless you’re from he area you wouldn’t know. I suppose they want to be inclusive as possible so they’re not going to start banning buggies. It probably won’t be an issue going forward since it’s not likely to be as busy. I’ll have a marathon training video up later

Good video, the route does look very narrow and could cause some problems for overtaking and bumping into faster runners going in the opposite direction.

Thanks! Too bad we missed each other. A couple other people did recognise me, which was nice. I think I’ll drag Connor out again to the new one in Erskine next. I was was dreading the hill at first. I thought, omg, I hope this isn’t another Holyrood. But it was too bad. I had to walk parts of it anyway because it was so busy I couldn’t get passed people

@@fatrunner7564 Yeah the main hill at Camperdown is fairly long but not too steep. The real killer is the last 800m or so - uphill through the trees then the steeper uphill to the finish!
