Based on the first few minutes of this interview, I think he wants to field a weaker team so that he can keep his best players for the league matches, which are his priority. He is a good, solid manager.

It's mad as a birmingham fan if we never got chris davies most of us wanted Ian Holloway a proper old school manager and guy with his heart on his sleeve and passion. Good luck for the season just not tonight. I'm disappointed you never let us have all behind the goal as easily 5k would have come down

I'm certain that the stand has been condemned as the toilets are dead, yes, the club still has problems and Swindon Council are like vultures hovering trying to get the ground back as we havn't been able to develop it since we bought it from them. GREED. I'm not gonna be there as I have the flu bad. Old school Swindon till I die. Got more respect for you bluenoses than the hangers on you get in the prem.

Excellent performance from Town and all in all a good game to watch. Both sides came out of it with credit and just shows what some of us said a few months ago that the players are good enough, they were just not performing under the previous manager. Well done to Holloway for improving fitness and better tactical and game management.

The Towns performance continues to improve and a couple more wins will put us in mid table. Manager and players deserve much credit for improving.

The Town played ever so well, defying their lowly league position. Crewe also contributed to a really good game. Keep up these type of performances and Swindon should find themselves safe from relegation come the seasons end.
