The menorah shown with the song is incorrect for Chanukah--(it should have 9 arms, not 7; with the central one either higher or lower)...and should not be desecrated with the word written on it in Hebrew., which I will not translate. This is the worst kind of cultural appropriation.

Thank you for your comment. We welcome honest feedback! However, to clarify our position, there is no correct or incorrect, right or wrong, when it comes to tradition. The 9-branched Chanukiah is just that - a tradition that was created by man to help people celebrate the holiday. It is not scriptural, it is not required, and before the Chanukiah was created in the 1300's, they likely used oil lamps with multiple wicks to celebrate Chanukah. Traditions change with the times, but what stays the same is what Chanukah really means - courage amidst persecution and the cleansing of the Temple. The menorah we show in this video exemplifies the menorah in the Holy Temple, and what is says is "Yeshua", which is the name of our Messiah and Lord, who is the Light of the World, who is the very essence of Chanukah. He celebrated Chanukah, and we pray as His followers that we all can and will as well and rededicate our Temple to Him. As we approach Chanukah in a couple of weeks, we pray yours is blessed and filled with the light of our precious Yeshua. Shalom.

Just beautiful. But duck the tracks to make the vocals the lead in this melody.
