本日２０２４年１０月１日は、乙羽信子さん生誕１００年の記念日です。

本年２０２４年１２月２２日は、乙羽信子さんの没後３０年の記念日です。 映画「時をかける少女」のクランクアップは１９８３年４月４日（月曜日）でしたが、その日は、なんと「ＮＨＫ朝の連続テレビ小説おしん」の放映開始日だったのです。 「おしん」の老齢期を演じた当時、彼女は５９歳でした。 彼女の御遺骨の半分は、遺族の手によって「宿禰島」で散骨されたそうです。 原田貴和子さんと竹内力さん主演の「彼のオートバイ、彼女の島」のロケ地である岩子島には「西岳山」という低山がありますが、その山頂から瀬戸内海を眺めると、「宿禰島」のちょうど対岸の位置に「糸崎のミカン倉庫」の跡地があることがよくわかります。 大林宣彦監督は、映画「ふたり」の「石田ひかりさんの入浴シーン」の撮影を「糸崎のミカン倉庫」の中に組んだ北尾家のセットで撮影していますが、１９６０年１１月２３日劇場公開の映画「裸の島」を見てみると、大林監督による「石田ひかりさんの入浴シーン」は、新藤兼人監督による「乙羽信子さんのドラム缶風呂入浴シーン」のオマージュであったことがわかります。

映画「時をかける少女」で原田知世さんが演じた芳山和子は、タイムリープ中、尾道市長江二丁目Ｋ林邸そばに実在する「石の階段」で「二人の男の子」に出会います。 さて、坊主頭の「二人の男の子」は、どうして「石の階段」で遊んでいたのでしょうか。 世間の人々によって語られることはほぼ皆無なのですが、「二人の男の子」は、映画「裸の島」に登場した太郎と次郎のオマージュであったはずです。 そして、「石の階段」は、乙羽信子さんと殿山泰司さんが天秤棒を担いで登った宿禰島の険しい険しい階段を想起させるための演出だったのでしょう。 「石の階段」の上で大林監督が振り子時計を撮影した理由は明らかにされていませんが、そういうことだったのでしょう。 本年２０２４年１０月１日は、乙羽信子さんの生誕１００年に当たる記念日です。 信じられないと思いますが、「時かけ少女のクランクアップの日」と「ＮＨＫ朝の連続テレビ小説おしんの放映開始日」が同一であったことは意図的なものだったのでしょう。

１９８２年４月１７日劇場公開の映画「転校生」のラストシーンで、尾美としのりさんが演じた斉藤一夫は、海岸通りの「料亭旅館魚信」の前でトラックの助手席側の窓からカメラを取り出して斉藤一美の姿を撮影し始めます。 これにはいったいどんな意味があったのでしょうか。 「料亭旅館魚信」の前の海岸通りは、１９９１年劇場公開の映画「ふたり」のロケ地としても使われています。 九州旅行のお土産を持って北尾実加が長谷部真子を訪問した場面です。 実は、「料亭旅館魚信」の前は、新藤兼人監督が１９６０年に「裸の島」のロケを行った地なんです。 一夫が一美の姿を撮影し始めたことは、そのことに直接的な関係があります。 その際、一夫の背後には「浄土寺山」が映し込まれますが、それは小津安二郎監督の「東京物語」のオマージュです。

岩子島の西岳山山頂（標高１３０メートル）へ行って瀬戸内海を眺めると、「宿禰島」と「糸崎８丁目交差点のループ橋」の位置関係が手に取るようにわかります。 乙羽信子さんのドラム缶風呂入浴シーンが新藤兼人監督によって撮影されたのが１９６０年で、石田ひかりさんの入浴シーンが大林宣彦監督によって撮影されたのが１９９０年でした。 私は、映画「ふたり」のメイキングＤＶＤを見て石田ひかりさんの入浴シーンが「糸崎のミカン倉庫」の中で撮影されたことは知っていました。 また、ＪＲ山陽本線で尾道駅と糸崎駅との間を何度も何度も往復していたのですが、どうしてその撮影が「糸崎のミカン倉庫」の中であったのかについては、「ふたり」の劇場公開から３０年以上まったく理解することができませんでした。 乙羽信子さんが亡くなったのは１９９４年１２月です。 本年２０２４年１２月でちょうど３０年になります。 乙羽信子さんは、ＮＨＫ朝の連続テレビ小説「おしん」で老齢期のおしんを演じた女優さんです。 私はごく最近まで気づかなかったのですが、「おしん」のテレビ放映が始まった１９８３年４月４日（月曜日）は、映画「時をかける少女」のクランクアップの日と同一でした。 これは単なる偶然なのでしょうか。 映画「時をかける少女」には、タイムリープ中の芳山和子が尾道市長江二丁目に実在する小林邸前の石段で坊主頭の少年二人組と出会う場面があります。 二人の少年は、「裸の島」の太郎・次郎のオマージュだったはずです。 乙羽信子さんの御遺骨は、遺族の手によって「宿禰島」に散骨されているそうです。 現在、道の駅「みはら神明の里」の敷地には、映画「裸の島」のロケの様子がわかる看板が設置されています。
