I would have gladly part the 30k Rands. My is costing me over 42k us dollars to do a semi restoration is not even a full restoration. Is crazy how costly is here in California to rebuild one of these. Makes me think I could have imported one from South Africa. 😮

Cool thing about the SMG is that when it fails... Cuz it will fail. You can easily swap it to manual for waaaay cheaper than fixing the SMG

Hey guys. From my limited knowledge of the jet system on my mk1 gti. Pull out the injectors, bridge the fuel pump to run constantly and push up the flap under the fuel distribution and the injectors should spray. Check your fuel filter as well.
