Thank you for a caring and empathetic reaction. "I choose violence" is also a line from Game of Thrones. I believe a King sent condescending men to take in a female leader and basically just expected her to meekly surrender or "there will be violence". And she quietly and calmly, said, "I choose violence." As a survivor, I can tell it's a true story by Jax's body language. This song pokes at my ptsd. And she chose the bear. I know the emotion in this song very well. Jax is very strong.

thank you for reacting and yes from her album drop she did a few live performances including the BBC1 radio live lounge and this, and a Korean show where she did 'number one girl' a Burno Mars song 'Too Good To Say Goodbye' and yeah she's been sick throughout all of them with a sore throat. you can hear it in some of her interviews like the one she did on Fallon that night also she was doing listening parties on Spotify the day she went on Fallon and she was clearing her throat the whole time and coughing. so yeah she did a live version of even 'number one girl' with a sore throat and it actually sounded better live people think the rasp from her sore throat added a little to it. Blackpink is rumored to tour sometime in 2025 but we don't now when yet. Rosé A&R at Atlantic just said a few days ago they have a lot more instore we just don't know what yet but live performances after the new year seems likely. Western labels promote albums for months and she's only done a few weeks so far. She has already been announced to appear at a large festivle in Japan on the 26th of Jan. She's making waves with her album and Apt which is pretty groundbreaking because it's a very hard market for foreigners to break into and it's I think people said like the 2nd biggest music market or something. So we can expect more promo from Rosé after the holiday. I love the fact that she just didn't care about the charts and released her album in Dec. the worst month to release new music. Apt is actually blocking Maria Carey on the BB200 it's the first time in years she might not be at number 1 for the holiday. So no word but it's expected that she'll at least be performing at festivals and award shows. Analysts are saying that the success of Rosé's solo especially with Apt is going to bring Blackpink's tour to the next level she's found a lot of new fans she just hit 65 million monthly listeners peak on Spotify (about 20 million higher than the next artist which is BTS) so a lot of none Blackpink fans that found Rosé through Apt are going to be looking at the Blackpink tour especially if she doesn't tour herself. So I can't really imagine a world where they wouldn't try to use the success of Apt for Blackpink concerts. Each member on their last tour was given time for a solo stage I guess it would just depend on if Rosé wanted her solo stage to just be Apt. There is still her whole album 'rosie' which should have 9 more songs you have not heard yet. she co-wrote, co-composed, and executive produced all the songs on the album she owns the masters to all of them Apt included. I'm going to throw out 'stay a little longer', 'two years', and 'not the same' as some ones to check out it's a no skip album though.

When I was 13, I thought my boyfriend was 28. I know better now. The line, "You're so mature for your age." is a common tactic used to groom young girls. We all just want want to be grown or be perceived as grown, so when we are given that attention, it makes us (some of us) feel special. Groomers are especially good at finding the vulnerable ones who already are or have been in an abusiv3 situation. I'm 52 now and I have carried SA my entire life, most not strangers. This is an incredibly powerful song. From her baggy clothes, the dangers of a bears sharp teeth and claws, the over abundance of makeup to the half black/half white neclace, -she told a story before she uttered a word. Much love battle sister. And thank you for the honest review and your willingness to show your vulnerability as a man who can see this from the perspective of a father.
