Not to mention, with BT 5.3 there is now BT 5.3 Class 1 which has a range of up to 100m (328 feet). Very handy keeping that BT music streaming from your phone while walking around your house. Already BT 5.0 on my phone with my BT 5.3 BT to FM transmitter has a much longer range than the BT 4.2 (BT20) BT to FM transmitter I was using. PLUS the sound quality is WAY WAY better. Not sure if it's the device or the ability to send double the data aka less compression. I use Amazon Music with a subscription for 24-bit 44.1/48khz and higher. That's a lot of data. The phone claims to be using the LDAC codec according to Amazon. I can't change, and never have been able to change, the BT codec in Developer Options no matter what I'm connected to.

Why did they skip Bluetooth 4.3, 4.4 and etc? There is Bluetooth 5.0, 5.1 and 5.2. But then Bluetooth 5.3 is now the newest. And Bluetooth 5.4 then comes soon later??? Why skip Bluetooth 4 line? Huh? Now they are gonna go the Bluetooth 5 line fully? And what about Bluetooth 3??? And the older? Why did they skip them also?

If you have a set of headphones that are BT 5.3 and yet an older version on the device you are connecting to I assume that the std that is negotiated and connected is controlled by the protocol of the lowest device...? So a BT protocol of 5 on a phone would mean that even with BT 5.3 headset connecting then the protocol of BT 5 is the established connection. That would mean if BT 5.3 is important both devices involved with that connection have to support BT 5.3. Thanks for the video.
