Sara Tandy reminds me os Lyle Mays. Warm playing very subtle and poweful.

This is a perfect groove. This performance is more subdued than the recording on "The Dancers at the Edge of Time." It's great to hear it with a different approach.

I was lucky enough to have met Dr. Lonnie Smith at a Summer NAMM show years ago. He stopped by our booth and bought a bass for his son. What a great sense of humor he had.

I saw him in a Kendal decades ago in an arts centre, I knew nothing about him, he completely blew us away… heavy fusion, that Strat tone… absolutely walloped us that night. I am not sure his studio albums quite capture his fire like his live shows do…

No names mentioned… but one of these dudes swung the hell out of the band and the other swung like a very noisy, rusty gate hanging by one hinge. When ego overtakes ability, it’s awkward for everyone to witness.

I'm just not on the Potter-bashing "my drummer can beat up your drummer" bandwagon. Potter has great chops and, well, Weckl is simply brilliant as always. We all have opinions--that's mine.
