This particular run is outdated because of Morty buffs, but Ad Mech are still the Raid kings and worth every upgrade!

@@ChaosSwarm it’s definitely not necessary to buy packs. I do it because I like the challenge of trying to get wings on the first event. The deep levels are always a tossup. Everything goes well until you hit a brick wall and your team starts getting picked off. Almost happened a few times to me, but luckily I pulled through!

@@kstud40k its also rng where the enemys spawn and how they position them self. Mostly for characters like angrax that want to get to spawn points fast.

@@Aumar58 no. The game has a ton of content for F2P, and the developers have done a great job of “protecting” players. There’s no spot in the game where people who spend money can take anything away from people who are F2P. Obviously, if you spend money you’ll advance quicker if you don’t, but the game has a massive player base of F2P people who are at a very high level.

@@izongaming1782 the buff will undoubtedly decrease damage from the mech team, but I’m pretty optimistic that mech will still be able to put out really huge numbers.

@@ygazz for some reason right side just sucked for me. Maybe I was playing it poorly, but all my other characters got smoked so fast over there.

@@kstud40k yeah left doesnt work for me, my TG dies too fast there (he is only D2 with lvl 9 health items and i only have 3 D2 units total for this). But i just managed to do it camping on right side, took only 30 tries!!!

@@kstud40k I very much appreciate your responses and willingness to help but at this point a chat about it is more than fine with me. I am going to finish at 350/400. I only have 2 tokens before the event ends and need 825 more points to get to my next chest, so that is not happening. My roster for Gamma piercing right now is S2 Tyrant Guard, S1 Eld, Aethana, Haarken and then a B1 Calandis. I have not tried it since my TG made it to Silver, let alone S2. I think I can probably get it now...I am going to try and will report back. This is only my second LRE and my roster for Kharn was way worse, I think Bellator was my best character and he was B1. In general this game mode seems to struggle with providing a consistent challenge even accounting for team ranks and enemy types/levels. Having a healer (or not) makes or breaks a map. edit: Got wiped with 4 enemies left. The flame guys just wreck me. Even with TG in the trench, and a mostly ranged team hugging him and hanging out in the trenches while possible, we just take way too much damage especially from the assholes with the flame throwers. I decided to replace Haarken with Sho at the last minute and that was probably a mistake as Sho died first, but who knows and again, it does not matter ultimately as it was not going to change my score.

@@MidnightHozz Ah! TG has the 'Big Target' trait, so he doesn't benefit at all from trenches! Same thing with flying. In this case, it would be best to park TG beside the trench, and have your walking units in the trench - this will actually be some really solid damage reduction! LRE is very much a mode where you'll smoke every level and then hit a brick wall. I'll be making a series of videos on how to plan for the Mephiston LRE that's coming up next. My roster is fairly developed, but a lot of the information will apply to all roster levels.

@@starinanovak5935 Haarken is G3 and Calandis is G2. I take your point though and was trying to gear them as low as possible to play it out. This strategy can be used for lower tier units, but in many ways LRE’s become a stat check no matter what. Thank you for the feedback!

Welcome to Tacticus! Almost everything comes down to win or go farm and try again, ie. stats check. TA should be the closest thing to a skill check we have but its not because the match making is terrible.

@@DocFloydd some guys have found great success with him on Avatar. I haven’t used him since I’m grinding him (fairly quickly) to D3 in arena. Since my ad mech is built up really strong, most all of my tokens are using them, so I haven’t had much time to experiment with Kharn in GR. FF is good, but biovore has such huge utility right from level 1. You won’t regret it!

@@kstud40k nice one, I've got Kharn at D1 and he's helped me hit 100k against L3 avatar which I never had before haha . Yeah been using Biovore in captain's league, really useful for distracting Thad like you said

@@DocFloydd avatar is a difficult fight! Our guys that are using Kharn in avatar are running aun shi, Calgar, roswitha and Ragnar. I highly recommend running him with at least Ragnar if you aren’t already. Kharn is going to be a solid unit for a long time for you. He might not be the absolute top meta everywhere, but he’s so much fun to play. And if you don’t care about full on meta chasing, he’s still going to put up really solid numbers.

@@kstud40k cheers for the advice mate, should unlock Ragnar at the next event and have pre farmed plenty of materials so I'll get him built up. How's the interaction between Ragnar's active and Kharn's active at high level?

I’m doing a Ragnar event video soon, so let me know if you have any more questions there. The Kharn/Ragnar synergy is as strong as you’d think. They are such an insane pairing and GR is no exception!
