karu nadu. karu in tamil means simply fetus or birthing related. { kandru in tamil is calf which in kannada is karu i guess) . Being elevated place karnataka possibly was important in early flourishing of human race (western ghats including keralam/cheralam should have been the initial lands of living beings as most other places of the region were underwater. the old saying in tamil "kal thondri man thondra kalathey valodu mun thondriya mootha kudi tamil kudi" means... while rocks were visible and plain lands werenot (because sea hasnt lowered yet!), at that time tamil kudi was visible/established with sword/spear in hand. Leaving who was that old tamil kudi and who was not... it supports myview that humans flourished in india in elevated places long before in plains! while the language at that time might not had any name to it, the people probably were called by referencing their places. anyways... old tamil and paley kannada must have been same with their regional variations as regional variations usually happen in any language! BTW, Iam tamil and lived in Bangalore from 87 for 10+ yrs. I can understand, but kannada writing is difficult for me as not practiced (though can manage reading slowly). so apologies for not writing in kannada. DrRajkumar movies (colleugues recommendation!) helped me learning in thosedays as his pronunciation were very clear. happen to land here so lately and liked it.

Rangayana Raghu and his love story, that small girl in the end is next level trip fr any hard working, middle class man with a love failure frm which he nvr recovered. Today's men are in great danger frm financial struggles, career growth, needs to be a real man everywhere while women has her choices frm ditching whomever they want wenvr they want. They're unapologeticcally spoiling men.
