I just ordered this for my sony a6400 to switch the kit-lens. I got is used for 300$ with 2filters. I mainly going to use it for video with gimbal, and having not to readjust it at changing from 18-105 is going to be great. I hope I made the right choice, bc. they say the sigma 18-50 f2.8 is much better and just around100$more or the tamron 17-70 but thats at double price (600$) If it won't be great I'm blaming this on you 😂😂 u made me buy it with your great review.

Great video, I am however struggling to follow along when using multiple ramps per clip. It's a bit confusing understanding how to do what I want with the time stretcher compared to keyframing the usual way. Any advice?

@petersroom Hello Peter, do you know why a "new fusion clip" always have the framerate of 60fps ? how can I adjust that ?

So I have used retime curves for 4 years now and this has superior control - however how do you manage your frame rate for example, if I have a 4k60 clip, i can slow to 50% in retime curves - but how do i make sure i do that with this curve? I am not interested in using optical flow or speedwarp every time - and the frame blend does not look super clean

Definitely awesome! A fair amount of work for a speed ramp, though. But when it's worth it this is GOLD.

I love the low light video quality. It's so dreamy. And the music you chose for sure contributed. Thanks for the demo. Definitely excited to try this lens out.

Really helpful to see all the angles you can use. And the demonstration of cropping was really valuable. I can only get one lens right now, so I'll just buy this lens knowing I can crop in.

Great video! I honestly tried this just a bit ago and even though it has more control on the ramp through Fusion, I find it much easier to just use retime effects and select the easing of the ramp there. thank you for showing us this way though!

I love these titles “still good in 2024” it seems like every year pass lens for some reason know and stop being good😂
@petersroom21 күн бұрын
@@paradigmastudio9472 exactly, suddenly it stopped. But if you concider that there are new players in the game, which could beat this lens in this league, then there is a chance that this lens is not a good pick anymore. But this title is too long…

What software do you use to record your screen? Thanks!
@MSPACELOG24 күн бұрын
These effects are really nice to learn how to. Keep on going. May I ask how you mask out pieces of the UI of DaVinci and Zoom in with the blurred background? Is it done directly on DaVinci editing, or is it a screen recording software? My guess is that it is done directly with a plugin for DaVinci or by hand, on Fusion, using masks and zoom in effects, but if it is that way is a hell of a workflow. Can you clarify me on this? If it is done by hand, I would love to see a tutorial of yours about this. Regards and keep it up the good work.
