@Eitrigg5 ай бұрын
Thank you. I'm not good at explaining such things, but long story short, i used the preset Slip Note Wide and Studio Reverb in Guitar Rig 5, and the settings for Virtual Mix Rack as in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5LKnXyvbJaGa7s (settings for the first bass track). But in the FG-S equalizer, I increased the decibels in the LMF section.

So i found a tab file for this song. I edited the bass part a little and added the guitar part, now everything sounds like in this video. The tab was made in Guitar Pro 7, i left the link to Google Drive in the description. Feel free to download.

can you pls do a tutorial on how to do the bass tab for this song 🙏
@Eitrigg5 ай бұрын
I don't know, i didn't plan to do tutorials, and i probably don't have file with tabs for this song. I'll look for it in my free time, but i can't promise anything. There are tabs for this song on Songsterr, you can look there. I just combined the second guitar part with the bass part, and here's the bass part for this cover. It's just that the rhythmic pattern is slightly different from the original.

Why are band names getting harder to read? Are they just trying to make sure they never sell out since nobody knows who they are?
@Eitrigg5 ай бұрын
That's one way to put it. Although I think that if a band writes good music, a hard-to-read name won't stop it from finding its listeners.

Unfortunately, I do not speak Spanish, so I will answer in English. I also played the bass with my fingers for a very long time, but at the same time my playing lacked aggressiveness and speed. So I switched to a pick. Although I agree that when you play bass with your fingers, you really feel more control. Grind on🤘

@@6hvhngff7 I don't think that Varg was on the way to play the same bass line of Necrobutcher. He rehearsed, wrote and recorded the album, uncredit for the reason we all know

Necro wrote pagan fears, freezing moon, buried by time and dust and funeral fog, ( life eternal, cursed in eternity, demysteriis don sathanas final take and from the dark past were written by varg) you can also see the difference, necro uses better tone and powerful basslines, but mostly root notes. varg was way more creative, haunting, dark and melodic.

Everything in this song is so good, the drums the guitar the voice of atilla. But the best part is the bass that carries a great importance in the melody, working perfectly with the guitar, I dont get why people in the black metal and especially dsbm community dont utilize the dark and depressive sound that the bass delivers, especially if it is conjoined with the guitar like life eternal is.

Makes me wanna get a bass, what would you say a good entry level bass would be? Ive always loved playing guitar but bass has interested me as of lately.
@Eitrigg10 ай бұрын
I don't know. I don't really understand things like which bass is suitable for a beginner, what materials it should be made of, singles or humbuckers, etc. I think there are videos on KZbin on this topic from more competent people. On my own, I'll just say that I would first of all pay attention to the appearance of the instrument, and the price. The rest, in my opinion, is not so important, because if you like the look of your bass, then you will play it anyway, despite its possible inconveniences.

How do you make that sound on your bass?
@Eitrigg10 ай бұрын
It was a year and a half ago, and I've already forgotten the details. Specifically, in this case, I processed the sound only with Guitar Rig 5. Judging by the saved preset (if this is the right one), I used the distortion pedals Cat and Transamp, and Tube Compressor. Bass Pro as a simulation of amplifier. 8x10 Bass Pro as a cabinet simulation and DYN 20 mic.
