Thanks Jack, I love that - thanking first before the miracle! A couple of things that ministered to me in this chapter is that Jesus came walking on the water, before they asked. Before we know we need Him, He’s there. And I love the end of this chapter, this time when Jesus comes to the land of Gennesaret they were waiting for Him, looking for Him! Last time they asked Him to leave.

Vs 49 stood out to me Jesus is talking out the rapture the wicked will be judged and those who did not repent..and change there ways they will be thrown into he'll this is so sad This is the scripture the Lord gave me Hebrews 10:26-27 KJV. For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. Vs 57 says that even Jesus was not welcomed in his own town ..wow that is so sad ..they did not believe my poor precious Jesus he was treated horrible he was an outcast among many I pray that the eyes of the lost will be awakened and there ears wod hear what the Holy spirit has to say😢 ❤🎉

I'm curious about the parable of the weeds in relation to prodigals who began with a strong faith and a fruitful testimony and yet have walked away from the church and their faith. They are surrounded by the evils of this world and have become so influenced by its world view and have become "lost in the weeds." It sounds like this parable is saying that in the end, they will be separated from the weeds and "brought into the barn." How deep the Father's love for us; how vast beyond all measure. That He would give His only Son to make a wretch His treasure. May it be so, oh Lord. We speak the name of Jesus over our prodigals that You rescue them from themselves and this world. How prone we ALL are to wander. Some, farther than others, some seemingly so far out of Your reach. But YOU SAY nothing is impissible. No one is too far from Your reach.

The seed that produced an abundant crop was those who listened to Jesus’ teaching and then put that into practice in their lives. May I have ears that are sensitive to the voice of Jesus, and a heart that is quick to obey everything He says.

I Beleive, I Beleive that we will win!!! This is a chant the students do at Utah State games. This chapter comforted me that the game is already played and we are already on the winning team. God and His angels will sort out the believers from the nonbelievers in the end. Our job is to seek God and His plans for us (play the game) until the day comes where the sorting happens. I Beleive, I Beleive that we have won!!!!!

God, Jesus, wants to be sought after. Ask, seek, knock, He has said this over and over. So when He speaks in parables, we have to really dig in (the word) and glean His word. We are both eating His word and planting His word. Our God is AMAZING!

Verse 58 is sobering. I don’t ever want to limit what God wants to do in my life. The people of Nazareth were so familiar with Jesus that it caused them to miss out on His true identity. Lord, help me to see you for who you truly are!

One of my favorite things to do is drive by houses that have amazing yards/ landscape. I always wonder who keeps this yard so nice? Most of the time it’s the homeowner themselves. And I think that’s because who knows their property the best but the one who daily adds to and removes what does not belong. Like the Gardner we need to add godly things and remove things that don’t. May our lives cause people to drive by and wonder, who is their Gardner? What seeds are we planting that draws people to our God? Thank you Jimmy

I also needed these verses, and to learn from Him. I rest the worry of the salvation of my family on the Lord Jesus. He told us in in chapter 10 that we need to love Him more than our family to be worthy of Him, so today I surrendered my family to His care.

Obeying Jesus because we trust him is the invitation of the gospel. It restores all that was lost in the Garden of Eden because of disobedience through lack of trust. I love how at the end of this chapter Jesus says his real family is everyone obeys him because they trust in him.

5 women were mentioned in the genealogy of Messiah. Only one of them is a Jewish woman, which is Miriam (Mary). Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, and the wife of Uriah, (Bathsheba), were all Gentiles. Messiah's genealogy is showing the plan of the Father to unify the nations. Through Messiah Yeshua, nations will come back to God.
