We werent diving super deep this day probably averaging 15-20m for most fish. Then your Wahoo are up on the surface :)

Haha something I learnt quickly in these bluewater hunts is if I'm after some PB fish then I've gotta be willing to pass up on a lot of repeat offers. Although to be fair I missed my opportunity on the cobia, I thought they were too small but turns out they were good 😂

Cheers mate :). 5mm winter, 3mm spring/autumn, Lycra/3mm in Summer or bluewater. At the moment its 27 degrees so lycra and 2mm top. Best bet would be to join our spearfishing club Sunny Coast Skindivers and youll make heaps of dive buddies!

Shallow as mate! Around 6-12m. Some spots even shallower like around 4-5m

@ExploringwithBug cheers mate! Awesome experience becoming much more common as the numbers of whales keep going up. The biggest thing I've found is to anchor and they will quite often come up to you if they are in an inquisitive mood.
