She just cut weight way too hard I think. It was happening after all of her matches ☹️ she gassed out

Wow, that's pretty intense for that level of tournament. kudos for her will power to push herself that hard though I'm not sure it's a good idea.

@@spazzywhitebeltshe was a fun opponent! Seemed to be a great girl but yeah for sure. Not taking anything away from her, she had a great armbar. But yeah knowing she was pretty tired I mentally wasn’t taking it as seriously. Thought me a lesson too

I wanted to cut weight for my first tournament, not great but i and wanted to win so wanted some advantage. I ended up just being on the low end of my weight class b/c my natural weight was the lightest category for my age and skill haha. Got 3rd in gi and no-gi. Did you cut weight or notice others cut weight?

I walk at 145 so I just did 150 and under. This is all fun for me so I’m cool not stressing about weight. My husband wasn’t planning on competing and signed up last minute and struggled to make his weight class but Fuji is very chill.
