Thanks for the video. I have an elderly mom, is it possible to keep the display on without having to press a button? I found a PDF that says you can if you configure it via the software but we want to order the Telus rebranded version of the ADC-T2000 and are trying to figure out if this is possible.

How did the sensor sync to the panel? Was it just because the battery was in the sensor?

If I replaced by 6150 with a 6160, will I have to reprogram everything (zones, wireless fobs, etc) or is that info retained?

That's stored on the panel, not the keypad.

I did exactly this, replaced a 6150 RF with a 6160RF. The RF is for the wireless sensors that we have. If you're running all wired, you do not need this model. Once I swapped over the keypad, I had a fault 03 on the display. Tried clearing it but it wouldn't clear. Had to run out and do a few things in the meantime and when I came back the fault had cleared and the keypad worked the same as the previous one.

As long as you have access to programming, you can reprogram the sensor into the exact same slot as the malfunctioning one. Visit www.geoarm.com/manuals.html for manuals for Honeywell Programming!

This saved me. This thing would not stop beeping and I couldn't find out how to disconnect it. This was the only way I found to open the keypad and take out the wires.

I just installed a 6150 keypad and followed your instructions to set the address to 16 . However, the screen is now blank. Any suggestions on how to proceed?

Hello! That could be because you already have a keypad that is addressed to 16. Try moving the new keypad to another address like 17, 18, or 19.

Did you find a fix ? I'm in the same position as all I did was replace a malfunctioning one. I placed the same address as the old one but my screen is blank after pressing( * ready).

So I tried to Trip the sensor so the serial number would automatically be in the number spots and its not putting it in when I open the sensor, it's not connected to any other panel and there is a battery because I just changed it today.

Imo the fish eye view makes it so distorted.. peoples faces may be clear but rest of body is so distorted
