Thinking about going there but the price is kind of ridiculous for 9 minutes of racing.
@blacksnake_trailsАй бұрын
It isn't cheap! I'd definitely recommend doing 2 or 3 races, they get slightly cheaper that way and it makes it last longer as you can watch the races in between etc. 9-10 mins doesn't sound like much but it's a decent session in a little kart 👍

Haha yeah man everything just came together at the right time I think! Pre- everyone posting their stunts on social media. Would be much harder to do these days!

Wow! is this an extension of the top part or just an adjustment? either way looks great. would love to come but unfotunately i live halfway across the globe :) keep up the great work on the trails!
@blacksnake_trails8 ай бұрын
Hi Skip, This is a completely new start to the trail. It's approx 150m long and leads you into corners that were used as the original starting point of the trail. Means all 3 of the jumps trails in this zone start in the same spot. Thanks!

Looks so dry, if that actually rides in packed wont you be going way too fast?
@blacksnake_trails9 ай бұрын
It was quite dry but not too bad, has since had plenty of rain and gone down hard. It rides fine and is still a bit of a challenge to clear to be honest. Ive found that machine built, track rolled and bucket packed stuff usually goes down pretty solid and gives a pretty good indication straight away, as opposed to hand built stuff that can be much slower and softer for the first tests. Cheers for the comment man! Looks like you get up to some cool stuff on your channel

No discredit to bc But every jump needs your touch to fine tune em! Love ya work

Thanks for the kind words! I'm sure Eric wouldn't take any disrespect from that. He did an amazing job and put in so much work to get this line running in the time he did. For it to need some tweaking and dialling in is understandable. Cheers!

Went there yesterday and felt pretty chuffed with a 45.005.... looked at the leaderboard for Adult karts and couldn't figure out how some guys were 5 seconds quicker!!! Then they told me that regular races get the 10s speed boost option but they can turn the "boost" on so it is active the whole time which makes the karts almost as quick as the shifters. Really makes me wish I had a crack on the shifter karts as I can see they're much much faster!!!! Oh well, another day, another try :) Good laps mate you were quite consistent once it all warmed up a bit.
@blacksnake_trails9 ай бұрын
Definitely go back and have a go in the shifters, they are a fair bit quicker and way more fun! Pretty sure I'm still a couple of seconds off the quick guys
@dwaynE20999 ай бұрын
@@blacksnake_trails The current best according to their leaderboard is 39.489 on a shifter kart... don't know if that is all time or just 2024 but I'll certainly be back for another crack :)

This material went of solid as a rock just with a track roll and bucket pack. But yeah I've hired a wakka in the past and will probably get one on of these days! Cheers for the comment Rob! ❤️

Is there no turbo usage like on the smaller track?
@blacksnake_trails Жыл бұрын
There are 2 boost collection points on the enduro track- the one inside the shed and another in the first turn which is ouside. This video is of the shifter kart though and they don't use the boost. Cheers
@rainey06au Жыл бұрын
@@blacksnake_trails interesting! I thought the shifter karts still had boost but it was always active as a per lap thing (like 6 seconds to use on each lap) your kart doesn't have the button but you still achieved an okay time. I've only done the shifters on 1 session though, so maybe I'm wrong about that. I was pushing the button thinking I was deploying something tho!!!

Thanks for doing that Simon. That first jump you worked on after the berm was probably my biggest mistake. Wish I could have fixed it before I left, but at las, we had other obligations! Looks like its riding a lot easier now!
