In 1958 I was 10 years old... so, I probably didn’t see it that year but a few years after. This was one of those movies that ‘made an impression’... and yes, I do remember this song too...

Born in '45. All my 5 kids, 17 grandchildren can sing this. When all together someone will brake out singing it and all join in. Now my 12 great grandchildren are singing it.

This is one of my favorite versions of this song. When I was young, the Anita Kerr Singers performed this song on the Tonight Show, hosted by Johnny Carson. I never forgot it. I can still see them performing it on Carson's show.

I don't know why I thought about this, but there needs to be a new version of this. (and probably other famous Christmas songs) with Millennial friendly lyrics. There must have been some magic In that old silk hat they found Nobody believes in that whole "magic" thing anymore. 5-hour Energy makes more sense. You don't know what's in it, but I'm pretty sure it can make anything dance around. Down to the village With a broomstick in his hand Give that broomstick to a witch, and give Frosty a selfie stick.

This is good for if you're stoned. And I think it should be remixed.

This is the BEST and MOST BEAUTIFUL arrangement of "Oh Holy Night" by Percy Faith with his Orchestra and Chorus. It not only captures the Spirit of Christmas, but makes one want to hear and live it all year long! -- THANK you very much for the upload. 🏵️

Just beautiful. I've got tears in my eyes listening to this song. No one can compare to the great Nat King Cole. And this song-- the lyrics, the melody, the singers... just exquisite.

If you want to be happy living a king's life Never make a pretty woman your wife If you want to be happy living a king's life Never make a pretty woman your wife Now all you have to do is just what I say And then you may be jolly, merry and gay Therefore, from a logical point of view Better marry a woman uglier than you From a logical point of view Always marry a woman uglier than you A pretty woman make a husband look small And very often causes dawn fall Soon as she marries then and there she starts To do the things that will break your heart And when you think that she is belonging to you She is calling somebody else to do Man, from a logical point of view Better marry a woman uglier than you From a logical point of view Always marry a woman uglier than you But if you make an ugly woman your wife You can be sure you will be happy in all your life She will never do things in a funny way To allow the neighbor have things to say She wouldn't disregard the husband at all By exhibiting herself too bitter and cold Man, from a logical point of view Better marry a woman uglier than you From a logical point of view Always marry a woman uglier than you An ugly woman give your meals on time And try to make you comfortable in mind At times when you lie sick in your cozy bed She will both caress you and scratch your head And not a minute in the night will she leave you alone It seems you want to melt the cold from your bone Man, from a logical point of view Better marry a woman uglier than you From a logical point of view Always marry a woman uglier than you If a man that's not your friend say that you have no taste Marry an ugly woman above disgrace One who is cute, looking barbarous and rough The skin like alligator, bumpy and tough Pigeon-hole, bull-leg, across in her eye She got two lips that look like a big bow tie Boy, from a logical point of view Better marry a woman uglier than you From a logical point of view Always marry a woman uglier than you That's right man From a logical point of view Always marry a woman uglier than you (aye)
