Agree with the commenter below. Awesome podcast and synergy between Simone and Deborah. Two powerhouses. Absolutely love Dr Deborah Lawson. No one's had a bigger impact than she has. She is a hero.

Awesome episode! Awesome synergy! Really insightful. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Deborah, and she was genuine, positive, intelligent and humble. I was (and am) in awe of the massive impact she’s had and I know she’ll go down in history as one of the most selfless, courageous, impactful and hardworking changemakers we’ve ever had in the UK. She’s such a brilliant woman and role model.

We all have a part to play to keep this conversation going and find ways to make some real progress - find your whys, create more safe spaces for men to talk, educate ourselves and organisations, put the helpline numbers in your phone if ever you need them (for yourself or someone else)

That certainly does sound a success, keeping that dialogue open and encouraging others to join in. Making such a difference.

It really is heartbreaking to hear some of the stats and shows us why conversations like this matter so much. The more we talk about it and support each other, the more we can make a real difference... together

Thanks Lynn, yes it's something we really need to get a handle on - and fast! Particularly as life for the next generation is becoming increasingly complex, with deep polarisation happening in terms of perspectives and life experiences. It's not easy, but open conversation is a good starting point.

The population models are starting to collapse. Western leaders are now importing peoples who will focus on bolstering the population among other things like voting the correct way…When governments had the ability to go from taxing 50% to 100% of the population, all our days were numbered. Women chose slavery to the governing body rather than home life, surrounded by loving family and friends. A sense of community etc. all for Eden? Again?

We should celebrate the fact that Black African women in Britain live 9 years longer than white men, despite systemic racism.

Why would women get equal pay in sport when the audience is way less? It’s basic economics… just like women earn 99p to the men’s 1p in sex work or influencing/modelling

Good luck bridging nothing. There’s is no gender wage gap. Just a bunch of females wanting the same privileges of skilled men without the risk and responsibilities. it’s why all the shitty paid jobs literally no women applies for it but men still do in droves.

I thought the wage gap has been debunked? If businesses could ‘get away’ with paying women less then why don’t we see businesses exclusively hiring females and reducing their cost base?

Sometimes you just have to trust those in charge. Maybe she was trying to step into a position that would have made her miserable. Maybe they just assessed her abilities and the attitude of those she’d be working with and said, nope. Can’t do that to her.
