One last thing. When the niji pop the back off or the orange cap on the butt of the marker. With a pipette resaturate the ink sponge with a little bit of alcohol not too much just a few drops at a time. Them do the gravity windmill trick to push that alcohol all the way through the sponge to the nib. PUT orange end cap back on first obviously. Spin it only a couple times as it may leak into the cap if you add too much alcohol or there’s more ink throughout the sponge than you thought. Give it a spin and see results can vary. I know this is an older video but this method applies to any gravity fed disposable alcohol or solvent based type marker

Yo man sorry for all the comments but these were the tools I started with. The SANFORD’s king size is my favorite That distinct smell and unmistakeable ringed body. Hell yeah. The black is a killer. The colored ones are somewhat translucent so try to use on ungrilled lighter surfaces. The company was bought by the parent company of sharpie so the sharpie king size is the modern equivalent. Yo nice pick up. I believe these are alcohol based so so of the ones that seem a little solid or dry take a Pipette or whatever and try to saturate the tampon inside the body with some iso alcohol. Same with the nib. They maybe to far gone for this but it’s worth a shot. Either way glad to see your back

I remember the SG7 aluminum body ones from the 90’s. Used to rack them from Micheal’s. I remember the ones I used the aluminum body on them would get all dented up with use… don’t know if it was from banging around in my pocket with other markers, keys, scribes or what but I remember them getting all dented up. lol Pilots stained better and was harder to buff but these were still way better then the Magnum 44 markers. We would rack the Sakura jumbo paint markers that were on the rack next to the SG7. I think they were called Pentouch and they were pretty much same size body of the SG7, same size nib also. Gold and Silver paint and they were dope. Sakura also had these SG7 Fluorescent colors and those were in plastic bodies. The Fluorescent colors were wack though… they were too light of a color to really show up good on the things we wrote on plus they would just fade hella quick in direct sunlight. lol thanks for posting this… it brings me back to the old days. 😄 Edit: I remember seeing the Pentouch paint markers on a video and just realized it was from one of your older videos. You definitely keep the flavor rocking with all of the vintage markers. Do you happen to have any of the O.G. Sanford Meanstreaks? The old ones that were branded with the Sanford name before they started calling them Sharpie? They came in the same body as the Sakuras and they had them in White, Black, Red and Yellow.

I love OTR inks. I grew up using pilot, garvey and marsh on MUNI buses in SF and that OTR flowpen and hard to buff are just as good as i remember those old inks as.

Wow that money shot ink is so nice! 10 years ago I was in Canada for High school and ordered this, just getting into graf. Its such a nice ink and smells good too xD I saved up half a mop full of it still ^^ I also had a silver smash ink which was also better than anything on the market today. Maybe the ink from the PX30 comes close. Btw. this ink was made by Artprimo too, they just never said that..
