Why is this channel so small? I love this philosophy stuff! You should do one on the Boltzmann brain if you havent already. Is there any real way to prove that we havent just appeared from nothing with fake memories of our entire lives? We cant even prove that anyone other than ourselves is real, and not a figment of our imagination.

And then the multiverse theory. Every choice you make splits the entire universe into 2 parallel universes. One where you went left, another where you went right. How different wokld those universes be given enough time, even with only the tiniest change at one point on the timeline

Teleportation can happen where every single tiny part of you from subatomic particles to DNA is scanned into a computer, then you are disintegrated, and recreated at the destination of the teleporter. Its you, an exact clone of you with the same memories, same everything. But would you still be you? Or are you dead and this is a newly created consciousness in the newly created body? Scsry

Go back further. Imagine evolution isnt real and its actually a bunch of time travellers from the future going back and breeding with each intermediary human/ape across our evolutionary timeline until current humans were born. If this was true the humans that bred with the intermediate humans or apes to get us human in the first place, were kinda created by themselves

Science so far seems to show that spacetime exists already. All of space and time. So the end of the universe if it isnt infinite has already happened, and the timeline cannot be changed. Everything we do is predetermined, most likely. Free will is indeed an illusion, however illusions are powerful and ironically, make our lives no less real or meaningful!
