What about all the owners that have unpaid rent since 2020?! Their lenders did not give the owners the right to stop making payments on their mortgage loans. Where did all the rent the she saved by not paying rent for three plus years go? Is she going to pay it back? Probably not and will stiff the owners again... The economy has been booming the past three years and anyone that wanted a job could get one.

According to an ABC News article, "After three long years, Los Angeles County's COVID emergency ended on March 31, 2023. L.A. County's COVID-19 emergency tenant regulations gave low-income tenants protections in eviction court if they couldn't pay rent on time due to economic harms brought on by the pandemic. But those tenants had to pay their April rent on time - or face eviction. For rent owed from March 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021, tenants were required to pay back due rent by August 1, 2023 and for rent owed from October 1, 2021 to January 31, 2023, tenants must pay by this February 1, 2024."

Charly Chin sing song Asian American storytelling is so engaging, informative and entertaining. I missed seeing Charly. Caught him singing in NYC at Basement Workshop (Yellow Pearl) Democratic Club, and at Nobody’s in the Village back in the 70’s where he was a bartender. How I missed Charly stories. So delighted to see him perform again. Much gratitude to you Edward Wong for sharing the Charlie Chin collection on UTube.

Now I can truly say "that's ain't my first rodeo, son.." Cuz this was my first immersion into the world of calf roping, bucking broncos, etc. This is a truly unique rodeo because it is on EVERY night during the summer attracting tourists and locals alike. Great fun.
