it says it right on the decal on the carbs cover; 2 values,1 at low RPM (800rpm, 6º??) and 1 at some 3000 RPM(???) ,(36 or 38º????) but do look it up; you need a strobe light to do it,there are good markings on the crank pulley,paint them white,together with the small reference slot on the edge of the pulley; if no strobe,static setting could be 6º to 8º BTDC when the spark jumps on nr 1, when you rotate the engine by hand.

Absolutely amazing boat. Comfortable cockpit area with plenty of outside room and a good size cabin with great headroom for this size boat. I’ve had bigger boats in my life but this is by far the most versatile. Can’t say enough about it. Would recommend this boat to anyone who loves boating.

@@123lilalaunebar that I dont believe. We have a 1995 Finnmaster 530MC with a Honda BF45, and it does max 39. Yesterday we luckily got a BF75D fitted and now it goes 59 😎

Was that a top speed of around 50 MPH ? I just bought a 23’ boat with that exact same motor with the 290A Sterndrive I haven’t taken out on the water yet but the motor sounds like a sewing machine 😁 it just purrs. I’ll be ecstatic if I get 30 out of a 4 cylinder motor 🤯.
