Wow. You did a fantastic job of that. I’ve just been listening to the isolated bass part. It’s incredibly precisely played and it sounds like it’s extremely heavily gated and somehow very carefully blended with a synth part, although it’s only obvious at the beginning of the track when the synth does a slide down before the Drums kick in. I was even thinking that perhaps they recorded it at 75% of the full tempo and then sped it up because the notes just sound so clipped, but that might be the result of all the studio effects that they use to clean up the signal like noise gates etc. Anyway great playing! Respect..
