dang....my fpv drone only weighs 14 grams and is an insanely agile and powerful freestyle ripper. watching vids like this reminds me just how amazing these micro drone builds really are. i guess i forget that at times after building so many of them. anyways...happy flying and thanks for the vid

aluminum is a heat sink. the co2 stays more liquid in the plastic housing and is probably doing most of its expansion after leaving the system

funny enough compressed air runned cars are actually being looked at for a solution as a way to fight climate change but many call compressed air inefficient the compressed air run cars actually have something like 80s to 90s percent which is nuts

Nice work but if you think about knees you realise that pedal crank is really a very clever device not overloading the body and allowing for recovery of muscle stimulation.

Also length of crank rod (leg) can be changed which gives a wide range of torque outcomes........ much more complex than it first appears

Maybe I'm missing something. But when the lock is open an rotated 90 degrees, what's to stop the gravestone pin from falling into the side chambers for the plunger arms?
@worksbydesign
@worksbydesign 14 күн бұрын
The gravestone pins are offset one layer from the side chambers, so luckily they float around the core like normal top pins

Rocket pendulum might be overthinking with your lift solution. Think more kite tail with bow tied to the end for stability, also you can permanently straighten your flexible hose with a heat gun.

I'm pretty sure a small change in wing angle would make a difference in upwards thrust. The hummingbird rotates its shoulder joint to achieve this, effectively angling more of the front edge of the wing to push downwards.

Might be easier just to use a real hummingbird, it's got the structure and all the supporting parts needed. All that would need to be done is a bit of modifications to commandeer control, with some feedback on fatigue signals from the muscles to keep it running longer.
