I always enjoyed this game on the PC. I was going to give it another run, but the constant clicking of the reload audio drove me up the wall. Thought it may have been just me, but I see the bug is in the console version as well. The devs can be quite slow for bug fixes which is a shame. It is a great game none the less, hope you enjoy it.

I fear that the game might become a bit repetitive after a while, maybe less powerful soldiers and enemies and more stealth would help a lot. Like this it seems easy and chaotic at the same time.

This is definitely up my alley. As someone who enjoyed Xcom, Phoenix Point, and Xenowerk Tactics (mobile game that is more similar to this as it is real time), I greatly enjoyed this.

??? After finishing Act 2 I am respawning in Echoing Ruins and all I unlock in this biom is winter/ underwater one. How can I go back to locations from Act 1?

I HIGHLY recommend you use an auto cannon with an augment that increases your damage to abductors then just aim at the leg and unload a clip or 2 at most to guarantee a quick break EDIT the MG-M7 Auto cannon LINE

im glad youre using key pages instead of not realizing they exist until the difficulty really spikes later in the game. can you see what i did when i started?

You usually build a team around the ego cards(the stuffs you get after fighting the abnormalities eg: bloodbath) of each floor

I have one tip for you: since you're on the early game, try to focus on high damage cards, (focused strike/wallop for example), since none of the guests have too much HP. Of course though, you still needs to focus on some defense, not 100% on damage.
