I have seen one of your newer videos with the table that is next to this RXR.... will you consider joining the two and connecting the for a longer run?

We’ve gotten that question hundreds of times and the answer is still no. The other layout is mine, and once I get started on a new one in my house, that one will be torn down.

When the Train Shop closed I got a quarter of the layout. I had it out in the front yard and some people were videotaping me because I was standing there drinking the beer and it was January and I was in my shorts because it was Florida and they wanted to rub it and about how nice it was down here. It's monsooning right now as I'm typing this and when it would Monsoon I would go into the Lanai and in the Rain the train would run better because the water would help with the conductivity. The train would start to run faster. Of course on my outside layout I did not have delicate scenery

What they call the beep people are about o-27 size and being rubber you can squeeze them into diecast cars so there's somebody driving and they have passengers.

Isn't it nice to see Rolling Stock that is not marred by graffiti. Graffiti is one of the signs of the downfall of America.

I hope this layout survive is Creator's death so many toy train layout get destroyed after their creator dies. This is the kind of layout you could just fire up and run it ranged and look it up for hours and it is nice that they don't have all the bulshit sound effects like they have nowadays along with all of the unrepairable Electronics unbelievable prices. I love how on a small 027 layout that everything from the building to the train to the track Transformer Machinery is All American made. I love the fact that on all of the Marx telephone poles they have the company symbol on the bottom along with made in USA.

Isn't it nice just to hear the train run without all the bullshit sound effects that they have today. I remember reading an article in Model Railroader about a train club and they had to switch fail because it wore out after fifty years of use. If Lionel that's stuck to their main business of making toy trains and not pissing away all their money buying fishing gear equipment and stereo company should making Walden stupid toys that they got into. I like the fact that there are no Lionel toy train accessories that are noisy and unrealistic, maybe good for children but bothersome to adults. Great layout and I hope it survives after its creator dies. A model railroad of any scale is a total work of art. It is a personal expression of oneself . This is the kind of layout where you can just fire up the train and let them run and have fun watching them run for hours.

Cool “0” trains on 027 tracks looks good. Seems to run ok on the smaller radius curves. The covers removed on turn out switches for engine clearance? Where did you get the blue and white ‘57 Chevy Nomad? That’s like my car.
@maxstrains Жыл бұрын
Yes, he removed all the switch covers to allow engines with larger radius requirements to operate. I believe that used to be one off my layout. Most of the ones I bought came from local train shows.
