Every Chanel make it look so easy and simple but nobody explain how to do it the child doesn’t stay in bed, cry while running out of the run and completely refuse to stay on bed

It isn't easy but the key is consistency. I find its easiest if the baby is in his crib in HIS room. I would put them to bed after reading a book and pat their backs then leave. I would go back every 5 or 10 minutes and then longer and longer. I put up a child gate at their door so they couldn't get out to get back in my bed. I held that boundary. If they got out of bed I would go back in and put them back without talking at all. I kept doing it (one night over 30 times) until they stayed in their bed. The older they get the harder it is so I recommend doing it earlier than later. The key is consistency and holding that boundary.

We are in it so bad, baby very clingy during the day and at night she will only settle when near us so its been nearly 1 month of her sleeping in bed with us. Unfortunately we are not beinf consistent, we used CIO before and cant do it again as she cries so hard she vomits (twice now) Ive tried sleeping next to her cot and comforting every time she wakes but she wakes every 1 hour. This is awful and i dont know what to do

Struggling with putting him down for naps. Lots of contact napping over here! I don’t mind it, I actually love it but the unpredictable aspect of it is tough when you have things to do

Very helpful tips 👏👏 our baby doesn't have any screen time at all during the day. But he's going through sleep regression since last week. It's hard to hear him cry in his bed. We try to find the right balance between letting him cry a bit on his own and going into his bedroom to reassure him and take him on our arms. Hopefully it won't last too long this phase 😊

Hi there! I'm considering a career change into the health and wellness space and this is one of the niches that came up. I wonder if Cradle Academy's course can also apply to the generation population and not just mothers and their babies? For example, university students, adults, elders?

Our major issue rn is the early morning wakings. 4/5am 🫠 we live in a one bed apartment so it’s really hard to just let him cry. Plus the neighbors…so what is recommended? I let him cry/make noise for about 10-15 minutes then I grab him and will try to keep the lights low, give him some water and crackers and put him back to sleep. This has only worked once, lol. So now that he’s waking up at 5 our nap schedule is off, etc. any advice ?

Okay but what about when the naps are awful everyday lol? We had the best schedule since dropping to one nap at 14 months. Solid 11.5-12 hours overnight, 2-2.5 hour nap. Independent sleeper. But now naps are shot. Every single day they’re awful. Which then causes bedtime battle and early morning waking. 17 months old. This started out of the blue and has been 3 weeks. Help

My child is going through the 2 year right now. I enforce the nap daily even quiet time gold hour cause this overtired child is chaotic on the daily now. But I'm consistent and go as far as to lay in hes room. I'm keeping my back bone where it counts cause sleep has always been the battle for my child and every regression

@@TheCradleCoach we've gone through multiple sleep regressions since the two but I've been sticking consistent with sleep schedules and nipping them in the butt. I even had to adjust the sleeping in his room as that was not a good idea but consistency with everything has been golden thank you

My 16 month old’s issue is she started catnapping again, as little 30 mins and won’t take a 2nd nap 🤦🏻♀️
@TheCradleCoach2 жыл бұрын
Yep! That sounds like a regression! Use a sleep training technique you feel comfortable using and do it for 2 weeks if she wakes early! Stay consistent. You got this!

But what to do if baby wakes up at 5am during the transition... She is miserable until that morning nap at 12 and ends up taking a very short nap, say 1hr and bedtime is early and the whole thing is repeated the next day. Any tips

Yes - I wouldn’t shift her schedule so that she breaks the habit that’s occurring. Set naps based on time and follow the clock for bed /naps!

What do you mean by stick to clock ? You mean by using the new time change or the old time ? Thank you! 😊

The new time - follow your child’s daily schedule and stick to the times throughout the day. If they go to bed at 8:30am for nap 1. Follow that time! You got this!
