I had the pleasure of listening twice nightly at the ABC Theatre in Blackpool in 1970 where i was House Manager, Mary was starring there for 3 months for the summer season along with Tommy Steele it was great summer all performances were Sold Out. I am now 83 but it seems like yesterday,nice to know you are still singing. Take Care

i love Mary's voice! I use to sing her hit "Those Were the Days'' when I was booked on club dates here in America. I love the British artists of the sixty's and even put a version of "Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying" on my KZbin channel which I recorded live on the road, if you would like to hear it. Mary's singing and guitar playing along with her amazing arrangements really travel deep into emotions, straight to the heart, and deep into the soul. Since so many famous people come from the U.K. I also wrote a tune about Charlie Chaplin, it has a picture of Charlie, who was originally from London. It is on KZbin too if your interested. I hope Mary is doing well and is living a happy life. She has made such an impact on music lovers around the world. I wish her the best. 😀❤🎸🎻🎻🎤🔊🎧

Mary Hopkin is still making wonderful music. She has released 5 albums since 2011. Mary is releasing a new album Doodling on January 3rd. It is “a joyful and experiment 18 track album of “a series of musical doodles”. maryhopkin.com

Wow! Sounds like a beautiful spot! I am enjoying your channel. I live in Florida, U.S.A. fairly close to the ocean . Not far from Cape Canaveral about 60 miles from Orlando..

I was watching a band on a country fair when the lady singer introduced the band members when one of the band took the microphone saying the lady hasn’t introduced herself so I will tell you who she is then said do you remember the young lady singing on the Hughe Green show singing Those Were The Days , well this is that young lady Mary Hopkins , what a fantastic surprise and afternoon ❤️
