When you say the announcer never shuts up in _Fuzion Frenzy 2_ , I can tell you've played it. I would have also mentioned that he doesn't even say the characters' names. "Player 1 lands an attack. Player 3 lands an attack. Player 1 lands an attack. Player 4 lands an attack." [mute button] The first game was a banger, though. I bought an Xbox years later specifically to play _Fuzion Frenzy_ .

The only thing I like about 2 is that they aged up Zak. I like continuity. I didn't like how they changed other character's ages (I forget who got de-aged/didn't age as much as Zak) but as long as they make everyone older if a third one ever came out, that'd be good.

I adored this game. The story was fun, the music was enjoyable, but the characters were something else. This game really went above and beyond to make you feel like you were in Wake's shoes bonding and connecting with the cast. From the girls and their storylines, to the rivalry with Alec, to Chlotz being your best friend. I felt invested in these people, and their lives. Now with the existence of Conception Plus, I hope this game gets a remaster someday as well.

Fun fact: The devs for Fuzion Frenzy 1 were originally planning to make the sequel for the OG Xbox with plans for more minigames and Xbox Live support, but the first game didn't sell fast enough to give Blitz the green light

To this day I still think its criminal that no studio decided to redo air gear but properly and completely this time. I feel like with the rise of hype shounen this show would do incredibly well considering it has all the hallmarks of an excellent shounen. Hype action, excellent comedy, unique premise, you've got your pantheon of badasses in the form of the kings, you've got your overpowered items like the regalia, and the greatest betrayal in anime ever. Also boatloads of fanservice. It feels like a no brainer to fully adapt this in the modern anime age. IF they did adapt it they'd have to make sure to get the same style of music (preferably same sound director) though otherwise it probably wouldn't go over well with the OG fans.

Fuzion Frenzy 2 was awful. They stripped the finale that actually worked and replaced with a finale that's crap beyond belief. Not helping that it was made by a different developer.
