I’ve re watched 90210 Dylan McKay scenes from episode 1-10… binge watching the entire series for the first time since originally watching in the 90s…. In retrospect as an adult watching, in trying to analyze Dylan & Kelly…especially in the last two seasons, I think the best way to express who Kelly was to Dylan was embodied in a scene like this…. Simply put, when Dylan couldn’t breathe per all his heartache, it’s Kelly - and only Kelly, that gave him oxygen to breathe again.

I loved Brenda, but Kelly is my favorite. She had the most depth, breadth, experiences and expansion than other characters, in my opinion. Dylan came back for her. I liked her with Matt, contrary to popular opinion, he was good for her in that he respected her, allowed her individual growth without growing too depended on him like she did with Brandon and, if it were not for Dylan coming back, they would have ended up together. Kelly still could not rely on Dylan, though, and wanted to be respected, that is why she hesitated so much, and rightfully so. I feel the two of them would be great together when they are older bec D had more growing to do to be with Kelly. Maybe he was way too comfortable with her. I guess with Antonia it was different.

I remember this scene so much. I was watching this series long after it ended on a daily basis, didnt watch any spoilers and didnt knew how the show would end. When Dylan "left" few seasons back I was sad because he was my favorite character. Bottom line is that I had NO IDEA he would come back and when I saw this I couldnt believe what I was watching and was so happy
