I'd like to order one but on the site it says 858/600. There's no way to choose between them, I hear the 858 is very picky with it's back pressure and I'd hate to accidently put a 600 muffler on it, thanks 👍
@BikemanPerformanceАй бұрын
Agreed the 858 is picky.So these exhausts are made for the 858. The exhaust when used on the 600 will have a little less back pressure. We optimized the exhaust for the 858 100%

Is there a startup procedure after installing these and the hard ecu flash?
@BikemanPerformanceАй бұрын
1. Roll the engine over by hand at least 10 revolutions clockwise when looking at it from the rear. 2. Check Cam timing to make sure it is correct 3. Make sure coolant and oil is at the correct level. 4. Start the engine and hold above 2000rpm until it reaches 170 degrees F. 5. Using the throttle drop rpm 50 rpm per 30 seconds until idle seems unstable. 6. Stay at the unstable rpm until it becomes stable and then repeat step 5. 7. Once the machine is idling at 1450 stable with no throttle input let sit and idle for 10-15 minutes. 8. Your machine is now ready to ride. 9. On higher duration cams it is common to need to give a little throttle to start the vehicle this is completely normal.

Do you have a video on clutch weight adjustment on the pro r? Can itbe adjusted on the machine?
@BikemanPerformance2 ай бұрын
you set the base weight with the magnets. magnets aren't accessible when clutch is installed. Set scre adjustment is accessible when clutch is installed. We have baseline setup sheets to get you close. from there we can help with fin tuning when needed.

Would appreciate any suggestions. 2012 Polaris 800 Razor EFI hesitates at 45-50 mph. 45 is about 6350rpm. Not really a sputter or cough. Repairman just cleaned throttle body and fuel injectors and said idle air circuit was partially open causing a misfire at that speed. None of the work performed solved the issue. One person suggested the primary and secondary cluthes might be fighting each other. No idle issues. Need to get it fixed pretty quick so we can sell it and move, but I want it to be right. I should also mention that it has full power no issues 0-45. No codes, no engine light. Always at that speed only.Thanks. Appreciate anything.

I've got a gen 4 2020.5 factory turbo and am looking for recommendation on what i need to run the stage 2 tune. does the torquelink come with the stages in it or is it an extra cost for the tunes after the torquelink purchase? and is there a recommended stage to kit for clutcing? Thank you.

Is 7 Lbs boost the max at 91 pump gas? At that what is the crank HP? is that the 440? I love the instant throttle of the machine now and am willing to keep it what I think is a little under powered to keep that, will this have much turbo lag?
@BikemanPerformance4 ай бұрын
You are always going to have some lag, but we have minimized it as much as we can! You can go a little higher psi on pump gas but not much. 440hp is the spec for the base kit and goes up from there.
@sotapop20274 ай бұрын
Thank you for this video. To confirm, '24 and up owners do not need to replace their reed pedals since they have the update? Or regardless of the updated Polaris reed pedals, BMP offers an even better pedal than what comes on the '24's?
@BikemanPerformance4 ай бұрын
In 23' Polaris released an updated reed, which is the one we sell. But they are still prone to cracking with the stock manifold the way the air flows over the reeds. The manifold also is prone to crack and cause a boost leak. We suggest changing the reeds and doing a billet manifold.

You guys have any connections in the Northeast that can do an install ?
@coltonware56274 ай бұрын
I am looking to get your similar set up for my RZR 900 this upcoming winter, I am worried however about reliability. Can I expect lower reliability/more maintance with your cam and AirXtreme kit? I dont mean lower reliability as a derogatory comment but more as how a stock engine is typically much more reliable long-term for 1000's of miles versus a race-built engine would require much more upkeep.
