I love Colter's original, but this is just FINE. Less aggressive and more reflective and I love the guitar work. Thanks for recording this. Best wishes from sunny France.

@chriscarter5720 Thank you much from eastern Canada. It's been pretty sunny here, too :)

I bought a blue chip on a whim (a TD50), and expected to sell it once I tried it out. That was a few years ago now. It's the one I nearly always grab for.

I picked 5 and 6 right off the bat as the best sounding up to that point. . And nothing surpassed that... I am going to invest in a blue chip or a tone slab .. but I've been putting it off forb2 reasons... I'm scared that I won't want to play without one .. I have borrow a few already during a jam.. and love the sound .. I thought about trying a chris thile and a golden gate ... The other reason I haven't bought a blue chip is I am scared I'll loose it .. I am playing with Snark Sigmund Freud 1.0 right now .. I like these and they are about $15 -$18 for a 12 pack ... also teardrop picks . I can use a rectangular pick no problem. I think it's a plus because you have three sides to wear down ... Thank for the video

It's also worth experimenting with wood and metal picks. I have an ebony and a rosewood and they are both nice. Hard and not plasticy.

Very cool video! I own some of these picks and the only one I recognized was the ChickenPicks 2.6mm becuase of the thickness. I haven't played with my ChickenPicks (I have a few) for a long time but I still recognize that tone.

beautiful, man! one of the best covers of this song I have heard. Nice that you dropped the key down a whole step for the original, (no shade to the original implied here), so a deeper voice can sing it well. Thanks for bringing the music.

Hi, love your songs man! I am following since the BF BC 2 days :) I love your "The A Team" cover you did a long time ago, still have it on my phone, is there a way you can upload it to Spotify? I would love to have the option to listen to it there.

Hi Colin! Great video and it’s crazy to see how time has passed since the BF days! A few of us were wondering - what ever happened to d0n7bl1nk? He sort of just disappeared and I know you guys used to play together. Is he still around? What ever happened to him? Hope you’ve been keeping well!
