Can you do a video on studio one and studio live 32 s using pipeline, how to send the signal to an analog compressor and back into studio one. It would be greatly appreciated if you could do that. I have looked all over KZbin and haven't been able to find any videos. I keep getting a feedback when I try it. Thanks

Greatt reviews of all products. I have FL, Abelton, Sonar and Cakewalk. I use Cakewalk as I have found it to be far superior to FL and Abelton, especially in ease of learning. Sonar rivals Cakewalk, but I don't spend a lot of time trying to learn all the ins and outs of it like I have with Cakewalk and I am more interested in in music production than learning new programs. Thanks for the reviews, I found it very nice.

Any comparison to The Ones by Genelec?

It is the worst dj “thing” I have ever used. Latest update 4.4 make it even worse responsive on the jogs. It has latency on the faders. 🎚️ very very frustrating jog - pushing a bit 2 times makes a beat skip too much. Adjusting pitch tempo up and down doesn’t speed up and slow down the track. Eq is confusing. The only thing I like is integrated speakers and possibility to use it without computer, but you cannot record your set to USB. You have to buy memory card. You will not be able to record your one hour without a mistake, which is not your human fail but - terrible response of the jog. I am very glad that I sold that shit. Their players sc5000/ 6000 works fine amazingly stable and fast response. But the controllers and the mixers are really terrible anti DJ devices.

The best DAW is the one you know well. I‘ve been a Cubase user since 1997, and I know Protools well. Tried a bunch of others, and I was never satisfied. But that‘s on me. Again - the one you KNOW WELL.

The best DAW is the only where I don't have to read 1500 page manual, don't have to contact support just to install the product, don't have to go to community forums to solve issues/bugs, don't have to go to 10 different websites to register an account so I can get the "so called" included content, don't have to mess around with Instrument selection and MIDI assignments, can buy loops, VST and samples directly from within the DAW and even preview them first before buying ... that DAW is the relatively cheap MixCraft 10.x

If you're serious about music production, you at least have to know 2 DAWs. One you can compose and work fast, and the other one is Pro Tools.

It is one of the easiest almost complete DAWs for the money. I have 11 gold and platinum records for rearranging and editing hit songs in the past and I wish o had this back then !!!

Mixcraft 9 pro studio with plenty vst's and a focus rite 2i4, a bass guitar, an electric guitar, one mic, and a cajon . I can get the essential edition to play back in stereo to my headphones, but I cannot get it to actually play back in Atmos to my receiver that supports Atmos, even after exporting. How do I do this?

I mainly produce orchestral mockups and enjoy the fluidity of Reaper above all. Outstanding support community, not to mention Kenny Gioia's easy to follow fun tutorials! For me it's been a fun learn as you need type experience if that helps anyone's choice

I'm just a home hobbyist and have only used Cakewalk/Sonar for many years. Now they're going back to a paid version of Sonar. I'll probably stick with it. I'm 67 and don't want to have to learn a whole new DAW. I've invested way too much time already and still learn something new every day. It still blows my mind how with a computer and a DAW, you have an entire recording studio at your fingertips. When I first started recording myself, just an upright piano and singing, I had an Akai reel to reel tape deck, and a little echo box. That was almost fifty years ago!

Cubase from the first edition in the late 90' I think...At fist it add a lunrning curve if you never worked whit a daw before.. I've work whit others that use logic and garage band when working whit them.

If you're on Apple Silicon, currently only Reaper and Cubase use all available cores. Even Logic only uses the Performance cores while the efficiency cores remain idle. This is of 3/29/24
