WOW. Impressive results. I am a detailer and I have never heard of this product before. I have heard of Solution Finish and it's a very similar product designed to do the same thing but to be honest, this stuff you showcase here looks to be a better option. I haven't seen a competitors product that makes the plastic finish so dark black and fully restored back to it's original look. I will definitely buying some of this stuff for the plastics on my vehicles. My wife has an Outback and it has a lot of plastic on the newer Outbacks compared to older models and this product will be perfect for the purpose of keeping the black plastics in top condition and looking brand new! Thanks for posting and the demonstration of the application. I can't believe how easily that product brought that black trim back to a factory new look like it rolled right out of the showroom. A ceramic coating will no doubt add to the longevity the product will last.

I just stumbled onto your channel looking for a review on the Continental All Seasons which I put on my 370Z. I must commend you sir as being one of the most well articulated and well spoken individuals I have ever heard on KZbin and I watch a lot of KZbin. Your presentation of the topic and explanations are top notch. You sound as if you worked previously as a narrator of television programs or something like that. Thank you for sharing your own personal experiences and knowledge with the rest of us out here in the world. I got those Conti's for my 370Z because I live in Colorado where the weather can change in an instant. Sunny one minute......raining, snow, and hail the next minute! Good all season tires are a MUST where I live although I try to never purposely take my 370Z out in anything but a nice sunny day, but just in case I do unexpectedly get caught in poor weather, the Continentals are the safest tire.

@@PatsGarageOnline Yeah the thing is my driveway is very steep. It worries me when I am in garage and have to back out all the way down. I dont know if its better to back up the steep driveway or to go front first. The thing is at the top of the drive the garage is right there with maybe a 6ft space of flat surface before garage entrance. so no room to turn the car around. So If go up the drive nose first I have to go down backing up. Which is best in your opinion, backing up the drive or nose first? Thanks for response.

@jensz9360 I drive a car with 3 inches of clearance in the front and lots of clearance in the back. I've had success backing up steep driveways but that's my specific car. So just wondering if there may be an overlooked ECM programming to intelligently close the flap under heavy rain or other inclement weather and road conditions. Besides just eliminating an arguably udesirable sound at specific rpms, this may have an engine protective function. Don’t want to attribute too much forethought to engineering but this is a possibility.
@PatsGarageOnlineАй бұрын
As far as I'm aware, there is no intelligent decisions being made by a module to close the flap during certain weather conditions. It's strictly there to reduce noise, according to the service manual.

900 views bro.. you don't understand your channel man, buy a i8 again and taycan turbo s, for the price of that lambo you could have both and 100k to spare, this channel was built around an i8, so keep it hybrid /electric or at least on the bmw page, just my 2 cents, keep it going
@PatsGarageOnlineАй бұрын
I enjoyed the i8 and created the channel so I could help others learn how to DIY maintain it. I never cared about the views or the brand. This particular video was in response to the many questions I have been getting about how I afforded these cars. So that's why I created it. If I get 2 views that's ok with me. It helps answer the question. The Lambo was a dream car I never thought I could ever own. So, when I learned that I could actually own one, I made the decision. As a car guy, I want to explore all of them that I am interested in. But if I can't create any value on KZbin I won't do as many videos. Same with the NSX. Very little to discuss that helps people learn about the car or potential problems.

For anyone who's not interested in drilling extra holes in their frame, Progress Auto/Tech also makes rear sway bars for the different sizes axles of Tacoma. No drilling required and easier to install. A little less adjustability but I think the position is fairly balanced and you don't have to worry about which setting to use so there is that. They also sell optional quick disconnect mounting option for off-roaders who want to disconnect them for articulation. Price is good with 15% off discount when I bought it. Still using the sway bar and great improvement to the handling overall.

@@kosta16auto I bought the i8 in 2019 and sold in 2022. I bought the NSX in 2020 and sold in 2024. The pandemic did affect the market of all cars but there are only certain exotics, over certain years with certain specs that are considered hacks. Most other people were in and out of exotics quickly and made money during the pandemic. I lost money because I did not buy or sell at the peak. So, the education worked for me. With regards to the Porsches, the GT4 was rare and held its value, the Cayman S with manual in perfect condition was a cream puff. Neither were exotics but I used the same education to negotiate on the buy and the exit. I didn't know how to do this and would have lost thousands on each without the education, just like I did with my old Corvettes. The 1997 Vette was an 18k loss. Ouch! Never again.
